Talesta holds off a aggresive and offensive outer shell, being hostile to most people she meets other than fellow Draenei, she gives off the feel of being aggresive and unpleasant at most. When around her trusted friends or loved ones, though, she lets her inner person show, being cheery and quite the prankster. Most of her friends would describe her as a nice caring person but she would disagree, because with her tough exterior, she offends more people than she loves which causes her depressions, at times.

Talesta enjoys music in any form and idolises anyone that plays an instrument. Seeing as it affects her in more ways than one, Talesta always liked musicians in almost every way possible, from liking them in a friendly way to a full blown sexual attraction, it varied between people.

Talesta also has a very violent temper caused by a mental scar her life left on her. She would get mad easily and react very violently to almost everything, which caused her a lot of problems in her life-time. She also has a fear of crowds, she dislikes being around many people and will try to avoid it at almost any cost.

History

Talesta was born on an unknown planet to a family of paladins and priests, strong believers of the light. The family carried the self-given title "Lightbearer". She was raised to believe the Light was sacred and the savior of the Draenei, though not really taking any interest in it.. From a young age, Talesta was taught to never forgive anything that was a danger to her people, and bring it to justice in any way possible. Disregarding her father's wishes, Talesta stood her ground and didn't wish to study the light, but wished more to study the ways of a simple weapon, and brute force. Her father was, needless to say, very disappointed, yet he tried to support her daughter with her decision.

During Talesta's childhood, the Draenei escaped from planet to planet in fear of the Legion. Growing in such a fear, Talesta hated the Legion and everything demonic from a very young age, seeing her friends slaughtered infront of her eyes by the demons of the Legion. Talesta made a promise to herself to avenge all her fallen brothers and sisters if it takes her all her life, and her parents supported such a decision, to no surprise, they raised her that way.

Talesta never got used to moving from planet to planet. She was always uncomfortable while moving and sunk into passing depressions. Her father always played for her when she was depressed, the sound of the soft tunes almost cheering her right up, which caused her to almost instantly like every musician she met, seeing her father's image in them.

While Talesta was nearing her adult-hood the Draenei arrived to Draenor, taking refuge there for a while. She finally thought her people's escape was over. During Talesta's time in Shattrath, she had also met a male Draenei that, quite literaly, sweeped her off her feet when she accidentally fell off a high perch of the city. The man, Saarin, was a Vindicator on his way back from Nagrand on his gryphon as he saw Talesta drop to her death. He plucked her right from the skies, and placed her safely in town where she could not help herself but to be grateful. The man saved her life. The two became rather close in their time in Shattrath city, meeting almost every day after a short while, until they realized they were both madly in love with one another.

Talesta was already a grown woman, with a loving mate, when the orcs went rampaging through Shattrath, killing masses. Talesta's family, and Saarin with them, quickly fled towards Zangarmarsh, but much to Talesta's disbelief, her parents were butchered infront of her own eyes by the orcs, forced to sit in hiding and watch her parents die. Saarin was nowhere to be seen when the orcs seperated him and Talesta, and Talesta from her parents, but she kept hope that he was still alive, and rushed away. She kept hiding and running mostly on her own through what seemed to be countless terrifying years, to her, until she was finally found by a fellow Draenei and taken to Zangarmarsh. Terrified, she entered a state of mental lock-down, not letting anyone contact her in any way. She was scarred for life in show of never liking to be around more than one person, because of seeing a huge threat in having so many people around her, imagining herself as her parents, while the others around her the orcs.

With the years Talesta opened up a bit and finally completed her training as a warrior, which was halted by her parents coming to their end and leaving the large mental scar on the woman. Together, Velen, and the remaining Draenei on Draenor, mounted an attack to the Exodar. Talesta fought bravely, willing to give her life for freedom, she sacrificed all she could possibly throw away to save her people, and much to her amazement, the Draenei won the battle against the Sin'dorei. Though during the battle, a promising sight came to Talesta's eyes. Saarin was fighting alongside his brothers and sisters for their freedom. Talesta was overjoyed, at the very least, but continued her battle without paying much attention to it. The battle ended, but there was only a grim sight that killed off the woman's last fragment of hope. The dead body of her mate, Saarin.

On the Exodar, during the Draenei's escape, Talesta furthered her skills more and more in the art of weaponry, soon becoming very potent and able with most kinds of weapons. But as the battle for the Exodar was fought, It left another scarr on her, her uncontrolled temper, along with the terrible tragedy of her love being killed. Talesta would get mad very easily and tend to have violent outbursts all throughout her life, because of feeling the burning passion and hatered against the Sin'dorei at that moment caused her to picture -anyone- who was irritating her as them, thus blaming them for her loss. Talesta's anger took toll on her trainings, having violent outbursts and almost assaulting everyone she trained with at times, but she did find something useful to do with her anger, let it overcome her depressions.

One day Talesta woke up to loud bangs and shouts as the Exodar was crashing, she paniced and quickly looked for any possible way to not get killed from whatever they crash onto. Luckily, Talesta survived the crash, but with harsh injuries, she had to stay motionless for days, even weeks, because her legs were damaged. She was taken care of and back on her feet in a matter of weeks. Talesta set out slowly in the land the Exodar crashed on, being the curious type, she stumbled across the Kaldorei when a few came by the Exodar to discuss with the Draenei. The Kaldorei were kind and peaceful, causing Talesta to grow a great deal of respect for them, and like them off first sight.

The Kaldorei told Talesta about a town called Stormwind, the town of humans, she was very curious of the mysterious race, got everything ready and went on a journey to Stormwind almost as soon as she heard. Being a single child, and an orphan, not too many people noticed Talesta leaving. On her way to Stormwind she heard much stories, particularly about the Argent Dawn, she was eager to see the group and hopefully join their ranks. As Talesta finally arrived to Stormwind, she had one set goal in mind, join the Argent Dawn. On her trip to Stormwind, the Cathedral of Light caught Talesta's attention especially, going to it almost the moment she noticed it. Inside the Cathedral, Talesta met a girl named Alexis and was asked to take care of the young human girl for a few days. Happily, Talesta agreed to help in any way she could.

She felt a motherly love to her but she knew she needed to leave soon to find the Argent Dawn. One night, Talesta packed her things and left without a word to find the Argent Dawn outpost in the Western Plaguelands.

Talesta devoted a single year of her life to working for the Argent Dawn, and enjoyed every single moment of it. The woman ignored her growing hatred for most other races in favor of helping the Dawn, and so she did. As the times passed, and Arthas took the Frozen Throne and became crowned as the Lich King.

It seemed like a blink for Talesta, but the Argent Dawn was now the Argent Crusade. Regardless of the new name, Talesta continued to serve loyally, fighting against the scourge of Northrend in any way she could where her skills in weaponry only increased. A mere three years passed before Arthas was eliminated, though Talesta never took place in the actual battle. The woman stayed behind to help secure the Argent Tournament Grounds, along with her fellow crusaders. In her time at the Tournament Grounds, Talesta fought in the ring to show her strength, becoming a sort of competition of hers to see who's better among the crusaders. She learned quite a lot of the monsters that roamed Northrend, learning their weak points after being pitted against them time after time.

After Arthas was slain, Talesta saw no more use to herself in the Crusade, resigning of her own will and heading out to explore Azeroth more properly, something she has yet to do.

Skills and abilities

As a Myrmidon, Talesta gains a wide mastery of all melee weapons that are common, and has a quick adaptability to ones that are 'exotic'. Alongside that, the woman possesses some knowledge of beast and humanoid weak spots. In contrary to her wide melee mastery, Talesta is worst than awful at ranged weaponry, and will never use them unless her life literally depended on it. (She would likely fail at it, too.)

Favored weapon: Two handed sword.
