Other:Tainja is plain looking, not having any outstanding features. She usually doesn't use makeup and only few jewelry. The jewelry she wears has some meaning to her and are not just for the look.

Tainja has a habit of speaking what is on her mind. She rarely thinks before saying something, so she even blurts things out that might be considered rude. The same can be seen in her actions as she often acts first before thinking about possible consequences.

She is very loyal and forgiving to those she thinks of as friends or are part of her family, as they are the people she gets her strength from. She would do nearly everything to see them happy. Insecure of herself, she is easily made felt insecure by words of others and uses comments of those close to her as reasonings , valuing them more than words said by strangers.

History

She is the daughter of a priest as mother and a retired warrior as father. Her parents wanted Tainja to grow up without knowing about the hardships of the world, so she was sheltered by her parents at her home in Elwynn Forest close to the Abbey.

Her daily life at home was helping her mother with some work in the morning and spending her time off in the forest. There she kept talking a monologue to the plants and animals. Because of her lack of attention on the way she walked, she usually got lost and each time she did, she waited until her mother picked her up. In the evening she liked to listen to the stories of her mother, who told her about the time when she was a traveling priest. Growing up with those stories, she wished to experience something like that herself.

Her father greatly disapproved about her leaving to go on some adventures and tried everything to keep her at home. She didn't act against the will of her father and stayed at home. But she and her mother kept talking to him to agree with her leaving until he gave in. He only accepted with the condition that she had to go to the Abbey first and start training in the ways of a priest. He knew that she wasn't a fighter and would never be able to protect herself with a weapon. This way he hoped that the Light would protect her.

Agreeing with the condition and too willing to leave the parents' house, she went to the Abbey to learn. She didn't learn much there, as all the priests were busy with the kobolds which infiltrated mine close to the abbey. Mostly being left alone to her studies, she quickly lost the interest in it and instead preferred to explore the abbey. One of the priests noticed her restlessness and suggested to search for a more independent priest who was more likely to have some free time to teach her. He send her with a blessing and a letter to a fellow priest in Goldshire. This way she started making her first steps out of the area she grew up in.
