Personality

Trusting to a fault and with a rather poor sense of judgment, someone taking advantage of her would not be unheard of, especially given her tendency to take any drink offered to her. When drinking she can be rowdy and somewhat unruly, but overall she acts silly and is fun to be around. Even when she is not drinking she can be rambunctious and playful, which can be rather detrimental to her friends of smaller sizes to be tackled and wrestled about by a seven-foot woman.

Her preferred race to be around are other trolls, followed by orcs. While she has yet to meet any gnomes and dwarves, she finds their small stature to be amusing, and would most likely patronize these two races. She has a few human acquaintances from the Bayside Flower Co, and has determined that they aren't so bad on an individual level, especially if they are working with her, or just hanging out in a tavern. She can barely tolerate elves when on neutral territory, and the Forsaken creep her out.

History:

Born as the fifth child to a pair of Darkspear trolls, Taeva's early childhood was rather uneventful. All her older siblings were female, the only male authority to the family being her father. He was a hunter, one good enough to support himself, his mate, and the daughters he had, even without a son to come along with him, and though he would have much wanted at least one male child, he was not disappointed in any of his daughters.

Just like her older sisters, Taeva's father managed to instill a sense of pride in her. He told her that she would one day be a trophy, but only to a worthy mate, and that he would never settle for less when choosing who that was. She and her sisters were treated like possessions just as any female troll was, but they were lead to believe that they were very good possessions, not to be handed over to any meager troll. Taeva always obeyed and respected his father's authority, and trusted him to choose that mate that would be worthy for her.

However, when she was seven years old her father had gone out hunting and hadn't returned for two days. A search party was sent out, and they had found his remains in the forest, and it was determined that a panther or some other big predator had gotten him(as he had been partially eaten). It was also at this time that another male troll in the tribe had lost his own mate, so he sought out Taeva's mother and merged the two families.

Immediately afterward her older sisters were sold to various males in the local community, and Taeva was kept because she was not of age. Her stepfather had a son who was her age, and he planned to give her to him when they were both old enough to start a family. Taeva was much against this idea. She was a trophy, not a handout, and she would not acknowledge such a mate unless he had earned her in some way, whether it be a match to the death, or passing through some great trial. Even when she was young, she had the idea that the only mate for her would be one that was worthy, not some kid who was being raised alongside her.

It was less than a year after this that the Murlocs came to invade, and as a young girl she had no participation in any of the battles. She would stay within the safety of her village with her mother as her stepfather went out to help. She would try and ignore her stepbrother as he pestered her, but it was hard considering he had the authority to tell her what to do. She definitely didn't want to be a future mate to such a brat.

It was to her luck that that wouldn't have been the case. When she and the other Darkspear had been driven from her homeland, she would go to Echo Isles with her family, and they had started a new life there. She didn't quite understand at her age, but she would in time come to know that when she had more rights within the Horde and under the leadership of Thrall. She didn't exactly embrace this new mindset, but she knew it meant that she could choose to honor her own father instead of the stepfather that had replaced him.

During the invasion of the Echo Isles and even after the invasion she had gone to Sen'Jin village where she lived out the last few years before she became an adult. At seventeen she had taken a sword and set out to travel across Durotar, mostly fighting scorpids, boars, and other things that came her way. By the time she turned eighteen she had managed to explore most of Durotar and crossed over to the Barrens, where she had taken a boat from Ratchet to Booty Bay, where she had met another troll named Ross, and joined a local drug cartel called The Bayside Flower Co.
