Personality

Taelyn was once very caring, loyal, and meant only the best in his interactions and in life. While he does care for those really close to him, as time has passed he slowly pushed people away from him, either because of stupid things they did or to protect himself. Some will view him as antagonist of sorts.

History

Taelyn was the second child in a family of four, his mother Senira was a priestess and his father Athalian a hunter. Growing up as a child, things were carefree and he enjoyed the strong bond with his mother and hearing about the adventures of his father. One of his favorite activities was to take an old worn wooden sword and play "Elves and Humans" with the other elven children of Fairbreeze Village. Luckily for him his mother, being the priestess she was, could use the light to heal any wounds he got from the roughhousing. His parents talked little about his older brother, only saying that he was shipped off to a distant land to assist with the fighting over there, something Taelyn struggled to understand completely.

When he reached 107 he was even more interested in following the footsteps of his father; purchasing an old gun and using an old steel sword his father once used. Through self training he was able to hunt and gather for the family and earn a little money by selling things he did not need. This training would come in handy as in another two years Eversong Woods and his life would never be the same. Arthas had enacted his plans to reach the Sunwell and left destruction every step of the way, including the battle at Silvermoon. When word had reached the city, messengers were sent out to nearby villages to warn of the danger and to request any capable persons to report to the front lines, which is exactly what he entire family did without second thought.

The battle at Silvermoon was one of intensity; groups of Silvermoon Guardians struggled to dismantle the growing amount of Scourge outside the city. Taelyn watched as his father shot an arrow into the chest of one Scourge member, however that did not kill the attacker and it proceeded to murder his father before he could load another arrow. "Dad!" he cried out only to draw the attention of that minion. With a grunt it started to run towards Taelyn and before it's sharp claws could cause harm a glowing bubble formed around him, preventing the attack. A prayer from his mother had saved him but now the minion rushed towards Senira but was quickly disintegrated by a bolt of light; another prayer from his mother. "Get into the city now and find a Magi, it's your only hope Taelyn, there are too many of them." his mother commanded and he followed her wish and was ultimately ported from Silvermoon before its eventual loss.

Six months after the Sunwell incident Taelyn made his way back to what was left of Silvermoon and quickly offered his service to help rebuild, not really thinking of all the loss that surrounded him. Presently he finds himself training on his own, helping people out and trying to figure out his place in the world, including advice to join the Rangers. While he has yet to seek out help from somebody who studies the mind, it's quite possible his involvement in the war have left him with a few disorders, most of which are notably upon interaction.

Lately he has found out his older brother has returned as a Death Knight and currently operates Blackwater; a company known to deal arms and possibly a variety of other shady operations.
