Personality

Alignment: Hmm, it is hard to say. I want to say Lawful Good, because he is Lawful Good about 95% of the time. However, he has systematically (and secretly) murdered many people out of revenge.

Surrish Vongarde is a confident young man who is friendly to most. He has the potential to be a bit arrogant, and can sometimes take his confidence to almost conceitedness. He does not make friends quickly, but if and when one does make friends with him, they can expect him to be fiercely loyal. He has a kind heart, though, and is quick to give money and charity to those that need it. He abhors the killing of innocents, but almost seems to relish and enjoy the suffering of those who he feels "deserve it," such as bandits, criminals, and members of the Horde.

History

Born into the wealthy Vongarde family, Surrish lived much of his life in pleasant seclusion, where maids and servants catered to his every need. His parents were kind and and gentle, and worked diligently to instill good morals and values into Surrish and his younger sister, Surri. He was taught from a young age to protect the weak, to give to the poor, and to help those who cannot help themselves.

However, they also spoiled him. Surrish grew up with the finest luxuries and privileges. A man-at-arms formerly in the service of Stormwind taught him combat skills, a wizened, little gnomish mage taught him in the skills of magic. Surrish excelled at neither, but still managed to be decent at both.

On his twenty-third birthday, Surrish decided that he would leave home, and try to make his own fortune, have his own life.

He set out from his parents' manor with a large rucksack filled to the brim with supplies, food, and gold. A fancy, bejeweled short-sword dangled at his belt. He had maps, books, and a sheet of parchment filled with contacts and names of his fathers friends and allies, people he could stay with or seek advice from if he needed it.

Not five hours after he had set out, his sister Surri, ten years his junior, lept out from the bushes. Naturally, he tried to take her home, but strong-willed Surri would have none of it. Ultimately, he decided that they would go to an inn together, and he'd arrange for one of father's friends to take her back home.

Shortly after, however, something happened that would change his life... And Surri's.

As the sun set in Westfall, Surrish and his little sister set upon by thieves. Over a dozen men. Fierce-looking, grizzled, scarred old men. Surrish did his best to fight them, but he was weak. He was quickly knocked to the dirt, his head bleeding profusely. He was kicked and beaten until he lost all consciousness, the last thing he heard was the screams and cries of his little sister...

Not a day later, Surrish awoke. He was alive, but his sister had been taken and all his belongings stolen. Only the clothes on his back and a small dagger he kept in his boot remained. Cold, trembling, and covered in rain, he headed to Stormwind. There, he met would meet Hogral, Vrahn, and other members of the Lodestone Company. They offered him a chance to make money, so he signed up.

Now, Surrish wanders about the lands of the Alliance, working tirelessly to bring justice to those that took his sister...
