Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Although he tends to be a violent fighter, Stanley' actions tend to be for the best. He has a very poor sense of direction, which helps him in getting lost. Stanley lives for battle and enjoys a good fight more than anything. He even holds back in an effort to make any fight last longer. Despite his tendency to be brutal, Stanley usually stops a fight if his opponent is too injured to fight back, however, he will unhesitatingly kill his opponent if they refuse to end their fight.

It seems that Stanley sometimes contradicts his own logic in fighting. On the one hand, Stanley wishes to increase his own personal strength. On the other hand, he conceals his strength to enjoy a fight for as long as possible. Although he thrives for battle, Stanley has shown to have emotions. Irrational to a certain extent, Stanley exhibits a wide range of traits, being: lethargic, bloodthirsty, compassionate, rebellious, empathetic, and wise.

When fighting isn't an option, he is usually pretty lethargic and tends to just relax. He smiles a lot and likes to joke around with others.

Stanley also strongly believes that fun comes before working. In every battle, he tries to get as much enjoyment out of it as possible.

History

Stanley Kreele was born in the traitorous nation of Alterac, to an average merchant family. However, he did not stay in the nation for long, as his parents soon realized that the betrayal to the Alliance was not worth the price they would pay. They quickly moved to Lordaeron, where they settled in Brill. Growing up for Stanley was difficult, as his parents were unhappy together. They yelled at each other often and spent much time away from the home, leaving young Stanley to fend for himself. Eventually, this led to their business to slowly fade. They were losing money and were unable to keep the lifestyle that they previously had. He began to wear used clothing and would occasionally go without a meal.

Stanley was not accustomed to this, however his parents raised him to become apathetic towards the situation. He spent most of his time playing outside with friends and trying his best to ignore his little family life. He was eventually put into the local school to learn basic mathematics, reading and writing. As soon as he could, he got a job as the local innkeeper and moved out of his home. He worked there, making an average income until the plague started to hit southern Lordaeron. Worried about his own safety, he left Lordaeron and moved further south to the newly re-built Stormwind.

Settling in the city, he struggled to find a job. Eventually, he managed to find a simple job in the post office. It paid less than the innkeeper job, but it kept him afloat. He hated it. On his way home from work one evening, he was stopped by a small group of thieves. They beat him and took his wallet. Angry and confused, he returned to his home and quietly tended to his wounds. The next day, he was offered to bring a letter to a dwarf visiting the city.

He kept looking for this Rongo Steelbond, but he seemed to evade him. Strangely enough, he did not appear at his inn for several hours. Losing hope, Stanley began his trek to his home, but was stopped by a mugger. This time, Stanley was not going to let himself be the victim and so he began to fight against this man. They were evenly matched, blocking fist for fist. However, a third party entered the fight and knocked the mugger unconscious. A heavily tattooed dwarf, of all people, had saved him. The stranger revealed himself to be Rongo Steelbond, a runemaster.

Stanley was extremely grateful for the dwarf' support. He asked Rongo about his skills, where he learned it and how he survived. Rongo explained, in a nutshell, what a runemaster was. He even offered to teach Stanley, if he had the will to learn. Stanley was tired of being pushed around and accepted immediately. Before he left to gather his things, he left the letter for the dwarf.

The next day, he was brought to Dun Morogh and his training in the cold mountains began. Before any runes or any magic was introduced, Stanley was put through a harsh regiment of physical training, meant to forge his body. After several weeks, he looked as though he were made out of steel. Soon after, he began to fight against Rongo and he found the feeling exhilarating. He was taught to dodge and how to fight properly. However, he loved the feeling of being beaten to a pulp or beating Rongo to a pulp. Naturally, Rongo would let him win, but eventually their techniques were even and the time for runes were now.

This time in the cold and the influence from dwarves hardened more than just Stanley' body. His personality almost turned upside-down and he became a ruff'n'tuff brawler. Rongo wanted to begin the tattooing with various runes, but Stanley insisted on only the runes of combat. Rongo was hesitant, but eventually gave in. Stanley winced slightly as the dwarf carved the runes into his palm and made them snake up his arms. He also placed runes on his knees. Rongo explained that they were activated when he wished and they would provide him with enhanced strength, speed and defense, especially in his upper body. Instead of learning the rest of a runemaster' skills, Stanley felt that he needed to return to Stormwind and see if there was any mercenary work, to make some money. Although Rongo protested, he couldn't stop his former apprentice.

Returning to Stormwind, he took a few mercenary jobs around Elwynn, taking care of the local gnolls with his new-found strength. Muggers soon learned not to cross him and he became a drinker and a smoker. Eventually, he learned of the money that could be made if he worked in Northrend with the Alliance Vanguard. He helped to fight off the undead, but not for long. He made enough money rather quickly to survive for the next few moths and returned home. He quickly returned to the Old District where he sits in the local bars, waiting to run out of money...
