History

Many years ago, the vile Orcish horde, infused with demonic blood, Opened the Dark Portal and entered the world of Azeroth. Shortly following them, a small, untainted tribe, The Starseers snuck out. This is the story of how one member of the tribe,Solren. During the first two wars he had hid underground with his ancestors. His family was a long line of Seers, Shaman, and Starseers. He spent the first few years of his life picking at grubs and playing with his pet wolf cub. at the age of 10 he was sent into the wilderness to survive, and find his calling, as was tradition. When out looking for food, he found a baby furbolg, lost in the woods. He saw a furbolg log earlier on. He went back to return the child, but was only attacked. He went into a fury and attempted to beat the Furbolgs with a stick. He walked off with a broken leg and gashes everywhere on his body. Solren limped away with a sense of shame and self pity.

A year or so later, he was rejoined with his tribe. He had left a child, came back a warrior. He was soon outfitted with a Wolven Guise and tribal tattoos, the traditional marks of a warrior, and some Chain-mail. He then left his family to become a exotic goods seller. He had gone to visit the tribe a year later. He was devastated to find the buildings aflame, and most of the tribe dead. Solren asked the tribesman Ak'tul where his father was, and who did this to his village. "Th-th-th-the Hu-hu-hu-Humans.... they-" Ak'tul made a abrupt stop as if this was scarring him further. Solren was filled with rage, and set on a journey to find the Horde, so he may aid in fighting the humans. He took a year or so to Raise enough gold to take a zeppelin and Fly to Kalimdor, the new home of the Horde.

He arrived at the shores of the land we know as The Barrens, rumored to be the horde's current location. He searched for weeks, but found no trace of The Horde. After another week of searching, He found large hoof-prints; he followed these for at least 6 Weeks, He hiked up mountains, nearly starved in the harsh wilderness. Finally he came to a settlement, only to find it in ruins. He followed the tracks for another 2 weeks, and finally had found Thrall and his Orcish Brethren. He went up to One of Thrall's guards and asked to see him. The guards reluctantly let him in. Solren walked up to Thrall and kneeled in front of him and said, "Thrall, War-chief of the Horde, I wish to serve you in the battle against any enemies you might have." Thrall pondered this for a moment and said, "Welcome to the Horde, brother. Head to the barracks and receive your briefing." Solren wandered out of the Great hall and into the Barracks. It was there he learned about the approaching Archimonde, accompanied by the scourge. He looked back on his sad encounter of his ruined village, But then shook the thought out of his head. "This is no time for distractions.." He thought. There was a loud horn sound accompanied by odd growling and a foul stench. Suddenly, Orcs in the barracks grabbed their weapons and ran outside. They were being attacked.

Solren grabbed his Axe , Skullsplitter, and ran out to fight. He was stricken with terror from what he saw. Arhimonde had already reached the base, and the ghouls were swarming in. Solren rushed at them, decapitating Ghoul after Ghoul. He came up to the creature known as an Abomination, distracted by another Orc. Solren ran up to the Abomination and attempted to hack off It's leg from behind. He hit the Gluttonous beast with a good solid "WHACK!" to the leg, though only cutting the leg. The Abomination roared when It noticed that Solren was trying to cut It's leg off. The Mound of flesh sliced a large layer of skin of the other Orc and attempted to Hack Solren in half. The Brute missed, accidentally getting It's cleaver stuck in the ground. Solren then attempted to hack at the Abomination's brain. The Axe embedded itself in the Giant Carcass's bulbous head. the creature seemed to falter, But it steadied itself, grabbed, And hurled Solren at the Great hall, nearly splitting his leg.

Two days later he awoke in a medical transfer. He had survived. The medic told him that he might never be able to swing an Axe or run again. He tore the sheets from over his body and saw a severely mangled, stitched up leg. later he heard about the world tree, and Archimonde's death. He then said, "As soon as we arrive. I want out." Two days later they arrived in what is now Orgrimmar. They began building, and Solren left the Dusty land. Solren spent many years living in Mulgore, isolated in the plains. He knew that soon, he might run out of food. He got a job as an amateur Blacksmith and jeweler, and as the years passed, he advanced in skill and learned new Plans, and in 2 4 years, he was able to start a smithee of his own. He continues to help adventurers also. Keep an eye out for him.
