Personality

Alignment: Neutral

Calm and laid back. She is loyal to the true horde and will defend them if needed. She's a bit suspicious towards Forsaken, Blood Elves and members of the Alliance. They will have to prove themselves individually in order to gain her respect. She will listen to what others have to tell, but she likes them to be to the point. Someone can always ask her for advice. She's often wandering the lands around Durotar, finding herbs or conversating with the elements or ancestral spirits. When doing the latter she'll usually be in trance.

History

Smolar was born on Draenor as a member of the Frostwolf clan. The clan followed Durotar across the Dark Portal when they became outlaws. They found their place in the safety of the Alterac Valley, where she grew up and learned the ways of the shaman.

She was a young adult when Thrall and Grom seeked out the Frostwolves. The diplomatic mind of Thrall, who she considered to be the lost son of the Frostwolf clan, interested her. His stories of the wars and the internment camps made her choose to come along with him. She wanted to help to free the orcs from their captivity. A male, Tonka, got struck by a sword during their escape. Smolar took care of his injuries, since his condition was so poor that it could be fatal. With her knowledge of herbs she managed to lower the fever and give him more energy. Later they would become mates.

She thought that Thrall would become a good and capable leader of the Horde. Therefor she decided to follow him in his long journey across the sea and to build Ogrimmar.

Then she witnessed war for the first time. Bravely she fought along during the Third War. Further she looked after the injured and prepared ceremonies for the fallen.

After the war she gave birth to a healthy son, Go'ran. Disaster struck when the young child turned ill due to the outbreak of the plague. Sadly enough the cure came too late for the toddler.

Then the forces of the Lich King laid siege to Ogrimmar. She was running around to bring the injured in safety when she heard terrifying roars above her. When she looked up she saw a couple of frostwyrms launching themselves towards the crowd on the ground. She started to cast a lightning spell and released it when the wyrm came in reach. The wyrm fell to the floor, but stood up and made its way towards her. Then Tonka charged in and pushed her away. The angry wyrm then snapped his jaws around Tonka. Smolar screamed and leaped up to help her mate. Then the wyrm turned around and started to flap its wings to lift off with its prey. One wing hit Smolar, knocking her unconsious.

When she woke up she found Tonkas axe lying next to her. She took the axe and burried it at the entrance of Orgrimmar. After that she wandered away, following the wind. When she reached a hill she climbed it. She sat there at the top for days, listening to the howling of the wind and mourning in return.
