Personality

Simblar is devoted to helping those who need help. This means that she will enter into combat situations, should she feel the need for protecting someone is needed. Simblar hates to see people get hurt, but does not mean that she will refrain from injuring or killing others in the field of combat, if the action is deemed justified. Simblar has no sense of real urgency, as having lived so long takes that away from a Draenei. She is open to learning about all of the races of Azeroth, but finds it hard, almost impossible, to trust Orcs and will become defensive around them. Simblar detests, Blood Elves, deeming them worthy, like the Scourge and Demons, to die where they stand, and is openly aggressive to them. The Blood Elves, having attempted to steal from her people even when their wrecked craft had just landed, forces her to hold a constant rage against the race as a whole, for their ruthlessness despite the hundreds dead and injured. The Orcs, however, have shown improvement from the time she saw them last, and under their new Warchief are forging a better future for themselves, and helping other races along this path, which she sees as an admirable attempt at reconciliation, and accepts it. She does not fully trust them however, for the attrocities the race enacted against her people in the past.

History

Born on the Naaru ship Oshu'Gun, Simblar was brought up within its relatively small halls, along with the other Exiled Ones. Being under constant threat of attack, Simblar was taught how to fight from as young an age as possible, without ever understanding the need to with the peaceful and powerful Naaru protecting them. The Naaru taught her everything she needed to know about the Light, and in return she pledged her life to live by the rules of the Light, to help those in need and combat evil.

Simblar's mother, her father having died before she was born, took her on a mission to a dark red planet when she was around 60 years old. The planet's surface was hot, but not overly so, and the atmosphere of the planet was strangely cold. Looking around, she saw nothing but a barren wasteland, yet the other Draenei and her mother had their weapons drawn. A few short moments later a worm of some sort burst through the ground below her, without warning, and proceeded to attack one of the Vindicators in the party. The Vindicator was saved, but the impression left upon her young mind was one of terror, and she never left Oshu'Gun again until it came to Draenor, millennia later.

Oshu'Gun has been on Draenor for a year, and Simblar had just decided to leave, trusting that they would not have remained for that long without casualties from the natives if it was dangerous. When she left the ship, she was immediately amazed by the lush surroundings of the plains, now known as Nagrand, for she had been expecting a landscape as barren and fruitless as the one she had expected. When Shattrath was established, Simblar moved there, having heard reports of the Orcs growing restless…

“The city is under attack!” Was the first Simblar heard of the Orcish Horde's attack. More and more reports had been pouring in of Orcs attacking Draenei, despite their acceptance of each other for two centuries, and now they were attacking the capital! Simblar hastily donned her armour and grabbed her blade, heading to the edge of the ridge to survey the surrounding area. She stared, dumfounded, as Orcs poured from seemingly nowhere towards them. Then there was a loud scream from behind her, she turned and saw the first few Orcs coming through the tunnel that lead to the plains. Simblar charged at them, swinging for the first she came to and succeeded in making it angrier. The beast grabbed her and threw her aside, then moved on. She looked at the advancing Orcs and realised her attempts were pointless and fled north to Telredor, as there were no Orcs in that area.

More and more refugees came from Shattrath to the place, and more were reported missing. The news of Velen surviving brought hope to the people, but they did not know where to go, or what to do now. Some time later word came through of an assault upon the Exodar to flee Draenor. Simblar immediately responded to the call and travelled to Tempest Keep, where the Draenei hoped for a new start, or possibly return with new allies to reclaim Draenor. However, when the Blood Elves intervened with the plan, havoc broke loose. Simblar found herself being piled into an emergency pod while the Exodar violently shook.

Simblar awoke, the pod automatically opening and she looked around. She remained in the Exodar, but there was obvious damage sustained. She was informed of their crash landing on a world called “Azeroth” by a Priest who had come to check she was alive and healthy. They had found new allies in the form of the Night Elves and their Alliance, and the Night Elves had already managed to defeat Archimonde once already. Perhaps there was hope still on this new world, that Draenor may be saved, and become the refuge it once was. She set about learning the language of ‘common' spoken by most of the sentient species of Azeroth, in order that she could help them, and perhaps in return some of them would help her people.
