Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Usually donned in a full-black leather bodysuit and boots with a red bandana across her face. However, when dressed casually, one might find her wearing a brown leather vest with black trousers, all topped off with a brown felt hat. Always on her person is her beloved dragon-toothed dagger, with intricate engravings on the silver hilt, snuggly fastened onto the left-side of her belt.

Other: Two rather large, menacing swords are also usually seen fastened onto either side of her hips. Both have silver hilts with black engravings on them. The blades are seen as cresent-shaped with a tapered tip. She wears no visible jewelry and seems to have deeply-tanned skin; it's texture seems akin to the very leather she wears. She also keeps her hair up in a messy bun most of the time, it's frayed nature seemingly reflecting her own. Another distinguishing feature is her smile, which upon closer inspection, reveal a pair of inwardly crooked maxillary lateral incisors.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Evil.

Sihaya's personality is best described as “psychopathic” in the truest sense. She receives psychological gratification in criminal or aggressive impulses and lacks the ability to learn from past mistakes. She also gains satisfaction from her anti-social behavior and lacks remorse for her actions. One could even go as far as declaring that Sihaya lacks a conscience, as morals do not play an intricate part in her life. She could easily murder, maim, torture, and rape someone without giving a second thought to her actions, and has in the past, in various forms.

As a seasoned pathological liar, most of what comes out of Sihaya's mouth is unrealiable. She seems to get a kick out of either watching people's reactions to her words, or causing chaos and mayhem to someone else's otherwise stable life. She hunts and kills for the thrill of it, money not seemingly the main motivation behind any of her dubious deeds. Any money received from illegal jobs is either just a perk to her, or an opportunity to create a general nuisance for her client. She is incredibly sadistic, cruel, callous, and misanthropic, but oddly enough has a fondness for animals; her cat “Fifi” (named after a certain Farstrider) providing her with occasional comfort and companionship.

Her only saving grace seems to be her companionship with a young, bright-eyed Farstrider by the name of Oifelion (or “Red”, as she calls her). Sihaya and Oifelion seem to be engaged in a strange relationship, usually Oifelion being the brunt of Sihaya's aggressive and violent tendacies. Sihaya seems to be engaged in a variety of mental cat-and-mouse games with the young Farstrider most of the time, taking in much pleasure and amusement in seeing her reactions. However, despite the grim exterior of this relationship, Oifelion has managed to break through a bit in finding a kinder, gentlier spirit in Sihaya. Although due to the constant mind games, Oifelion herself even questions whether or not the breakthroughs are genuine.

History

Born on a dark, stormy evening in Tranquillien, Elyria Azuredawn was brought into the world of Azeroth. Although most children are born kicking and screaming from their mother's womb, Elyria was born eerily silent and still. With her large eyes already opened, she seemed to watch everyone in the room (the midwife, her father, and her mother) with an intense observation. She seemed to take everything in, studying it. When placed into her mother's arms, she not once looked her mother in the eyes, as though no emotional bond could be made with her. It was almost as if since birth, Elyria would never have the emotional capacity of a normal person.

All throughout Elyria's childhood, various acts of disobedience to her parents were performed. On one occasion, Elyria had taken her younger sister and only sibling, Illithia, to the Elrendar River and held her head down under the water, drowning her and later blaming her disappearance and death on local forest trolls. Instead of comforting the young Elyria for such a loss, it almost seemed like her parents secretly knew that their daughter was capable of doing such a horrific and vile act, and punished her accordingly. That night, Elyria was beaten severly by her father, his public reasoning: "for allowing such a careless event to occur".

During the events of the Third War, Elyria's parents, not wanting to get involve with the war effort directly, decided to pack up and move their family to Gadgetzan in Tanaris. The aging couple were merchants in their native Quel'thalas, but upon hearing news of the impending Scourge invasion, took a ship west from Menethil Harbor to Kalimdor.

Wanting to expand their customer base, the merchants opened up a small shop, which they had leased from the Steamweedle Cartel. There, many items of a curious and attenuated nature were sold, with customers from all over the continents paying well. This included (but wasn't limited to): rare guns, explosives, various contraband, and most especially, rare historical artefacts. In fact, her family seemed to have a niche in the hard-to-get historical artefacts department, largely in part to Elyria, who had tomb-robbed many places for them, such as Zul'Farrak.

Upon first arriving in Tanaris, Elyria picked up various bad habits from the local goblins, including how to make explosives and firearms, drinking copious amounts of Goblin Rocket Fuel, and pick-pocketing many of the “outsiders” that would come to do business in the tiny desert town. One day, she came across a "Wanted" poster, asking for the heads of local Wastewander Bandit leaders. Curious to see if she could actually murder someone brutally, she accepted, setting off east towards their camps. After dropping her dagger in an inopportune moment, Elyria was subsequently captured by the Bandits and given a chance to have her life spared if she did some work for them against the Goblins. Not being a fan of either faction, Elyria worked as a double-agent, often feeding false information to both parties, while collecting hefty rewards for herself. The local Wastewanders eventually started to call her “Sihaya”, after a type of venomous snake that lived in the desert. As her deeds against them began to unravel, this nickname was not given as result of her lightning-fast combat skills, but rather as an insult describing her poisonous and snake-like behavior.

Not wanting to “wear out her welcome”, Sihaya fled back to her native Quel'thalas, taking on “Sihaya Sandsorrow” as her new alias. The latter name being taken from the first place she had killed a man in Tanaris, the Sandsorrow Watch. The former as a deliberate mocking of the Wastewanders.
