Personality

Alignment: Lawful Lawful

Sidora's personality seems to be lacking. Even previous to his death he was not a man of great empathy, his time with the Ebon Blade only served to further his detachment from others. Though detached, he is not ever mongering for pain nor suffering. He feels the need to kill, just as every other Death Knight, but he knows this is no excuse for mindless slaughter. Mindless, without order, traits Sidora abhors. Sidora needs order in his life and he knows it. Without a proper lifestyle he stands confused, neglected, and meaningless. He has a natural curiosity about mostly everything, asking too many questions, thinking too deeply, then finding what would be most logical in any given situation. By that merit, he leaves very little to chance as well as being stubborn on his views. Because they are what is most coherent. He enjoy mostly reflecting on mannerisms of living as well as faith, the latter he considers himself to be 'fluent' in.

History

Born in a log cabin to Huward and Gaelia Kenyon, Sidora had lived a humble life in a farming village for most of his childhood. He came from a, comparatively, higher class family. Huward hailed from a once influential family from the capital, he settled in the gentle, quiet farmlands of Lordaeron. The small hamlet would be the setting for romance after a few years. Gaelia, a small town girl, held a certain disdain typically towards noble. However, Huward was a man of persistence. The relationship would slowly flourish into what had been a happy marriage, two children, and a respectable place in their community. The orcs soon came, claiming numerous victories across the nations in the south. The small hamlet bustled with both excitement and confusion. Numerous people came and left the village, either seeking refuge from or to join the fight against the savage orcs. One of which being Huward Kenyon. Compelled by a sense of justice and valor instilled in the man, he returned to Lordaeron to take up the mantle of a noble, a knight. Huward joined in the fight during the Alliance's campaign to retake the south, he returned home weary of mind and body. Sidora saw a true hero upon his father's homecoming.

Sidora had been working in the family's farm from a young age, doing what he could to help out. He grew strong from the demanding work, pushing himself as far as he could take it. Before long, his father noticed his boy was growing up and developing a good work ethic. Deciding that the family's nobility had been restored, he began training Sidora personally to continue a lineage. For the rest of his home life, his daily routine remained largely unchanged. School, working, and training. At the time, it was an agonizing, tedious torture. Sidora had whatever time he could spend with his father and working on the small estate's farm, but a teenage boy craves more than the monotonous schedule.

At his coming of age, he left his parent's home and village, though they both were close at heart. Finally free to live as his own man, Sidora desired adventure, friendship, romance, whatever life had to throw at him. However, he would abide by his father's wishes to have a place to call home instead of wanderlust he had in store. The home would only be a temporary dwelling, so that he could prepare himself for living alone. Huward would have paid for the land in advance, a nearly untouched patch of forest between the great capital of Lordaeron and his own thriving hamlet. Sidora had insisted on working on the building of the house himself along with the hired workers. He soon had something to be proud of. Sidora enjoyed the crisp mountain air, the solitude of the forest, and mostly being freed to do as he pleases. He easily fell for his new life as a woodsman, simplicity at its best.

Sidora continued on in his forest-surrounded home for a few more years. He visited the surrounding villages, often his parents'. From his isolated living, he never heard word of the Third War when it hit. Upon visiting his family's home, he found the once great hamlet in disrepair. Instead of merchants, there were militiamen. He would go on to seek his family, after meeting with his mother he learned of the undead attack, of which his father had died in. The grief-stricken Sidora would join up with the militiamen, later coming to know them as the Scarlet Crusade. After taking his mother and sister to a remaining bastion, he turned towards the frontlines meeting battle head on.

He was tutored in faith and the Light under the scholars within the monastery, learning greatly from their expansive tomes of knowledge. More often than not, Sidora would be found in dim light reading from one of several field tactic books. His eagerness to serve the order would earn him small fame within the Scarlet halls. After years of service he was hailed as a champion to the Scarlet Crusade, either commanding small troupes of soldiers himself or serving higher ranking officers directly. His time with the Scarlet Crusade toughened him, but also emotionally disconnected him. He was taught to win battles, no matter the cost. As he was dispatched , he and a small band were to meet a force of Scourge in the eastern reaches of Lordaeron, now the Plaguelands. Despite finishing off the undead, his forces were nearly annihilated. They were quick to retreat towards Tyr's Hand to recuperate from their losses.

The Scourge's answer to the crusaders, Scarlet or Argent, were shown fully only months later. Acherus: The Ebon Hold, the great necropolis soon unleashed soldiers of strength previously unseen. Sidora had been within the first waves to die and be raised by the new threat. Being strong, capable, and obedient he was a ripe for the raising. He returned to Acherus, subject to the Lich King's will. The next few months would deaden anything that was left from the Scarlets and build upon an already mighty soldier. With newfound unholy strength he helped the Scourge crush their enemies. That is, until the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel. From there on, Sidora was a loyal Knight of the Ebon Blade.

After the fall of the Lich King, like many Death Knights, Sidora found himself purposeless. With his home land no longer inhabitable and the remnants of the Scarlet Crusade hostile, he sailed for the largest human city, Stormwind, as a final option.
