Skills and Abilities: Quite resistant towards slashes due to the armour, Shaydana is adept in healing with the light. Albeit, her focus lays more on the harming means of her path, effectively using the light in combination with her skills with the sword and shield to bring down her foes. Other than this, she is well-read in the history of the Paladins, often for a little play of hers. Oh, and the harp.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: A few layers of overlapping plate, chainmail and padding, woolen underneath. All held within the colours of the Blood Knight order.

Other: A thick, heavy cloak, should she have to travel in colder regions. She is wearing it usually, despite it being hampering in combat. Other than this, she carries her aforehand mentioned shield and sword. The sheath of the sword is made out of the timber of the mean oak of Eversong, covered in leather. Partially, lined with fur, for a purpose.

Personality

Shaydana would be, what most would perceive the majority of the Blood Elves as; pompous, prideful and could one trust the rumors, an inclination towards Drama, the fancy and the extravagant. Beyond that, she lives out life at its fullest, often found drinking her most favourite wine, in her most favourite inn within Silvermoon. When off-duty, that is. In rapture, she is only found among her own people, often encouraging people to talk instead of sitting in their lone-corners within an inn, a general curiousity is held within her. She is not quite compassionate, the beggar in the last street she had seen could be finding work instead of hanging on his lazy bum all day, pledging people to grant them money. Even if she is not part of the city guard, she heavily insists on the laws of Silvermoon being held within their boundaries, willing to hunt down a criminal to the ends of the world, if such was required.

As far as races are concerned, she cares little for the other races. But dare they trespass the borders of her home, the shunned humans and wretches of the alliance, that is. If a poor individual is caught over the borders, they will see quite a different side of Shaydana, deep buried within herself.

History

Born to a Farstrider mother and her father, one of the rare Warriors within the Quel'dorei, in the village of Fairbreeze, Shaydana's young years, her childhood were quite active. A stubborn and unthinking child, often getting into trouble as the guards and her parents had quite a hard time restraining her lively childhood. She developed an interest in the play, the deceiving and the sinister, perhaps. Burning insects with a lense? Disturbing to some, amusement to Shaydana. Care for life was a very little factor for the maturing High Elf. Adulthood reached her and she had made her decision, joining the Farstriders among their ranks, being forced into discipline and proper use of weaponry. It was a harsh time, the training rough and unforgiving as her personality grew more and more into a militaristic way. She grew in their ranks, albeit she never picked up the slight amount of Druidism they wielded, unable to perform such tasks, she remained a mundane ranger, skilled in the wielding of the bow and the sword.

Her most favourite part in the training as a Farstrider were perhaps the combat movements they trained, it seemed like a well-planned play with some chaos, violence and the unknown mixed within, a joy to her. Friends were made within the Farstriders, often keeping between themselves and ever so often, she challenged them to spars, she was an energetic person, indeed. Always wanting to become better, always wishing to improve oneself. Time and time on duty passed, the message of the unknown Orcs streaming through a certain portal like a green wave of muscle and destruction remained unheard by her, until the Second War was heard. Back then, as allies of the Humans, she joined the combat and battled against the old Horde. Fierce and brave, she let arrows rain upon the bodies of her enemies. Nearly falling in an ambush of the horde, still living due to the bravery of a few soldiers, she was transported back to Quel'thalas. The war ended without her involving herself further, having to rest from her injuries she carried from that damned war.

Perhaps it taught her the meaning of life-threatening situations, that life is to be valued. Or it taught her that life can become hell, and be worse than death. Or so she thought... Nonetheless, she remained with the Farstriders as the few years of peace lasted before the siege of the Scourge began. Except for a few minor injuries, some clawings, she remained unharmed. Not so much for most of her relatives, her mother died, being in one of the corps which held the outskirts of Quel'thalas, the first victims of the Scourge. Her father had...disappeared and is assumed dead, his true faith remains unknown to this day. Luckily, most of her friends survived, granting her assistance and an arm to lean on during this time. But they, the arms she leaned on leaded her to the temptation, the temptation that is fel. She partook in the consumption, her eyes turning into the fel-green that they are now, renaming herself a Sin'dorei.

The echoes of a new order arising ringed in her ears and her curiousity was startled; the Blood Knights. Much effort and training was required of her as she became one of the initiates, much harder than it was, back with the Farstriders. This training required her magical skills, soon becoming talented in the wielding of subdued light, if even with massive strain. Eventually, Lady Liadrin pledged her aid towards A'dal, Shaydana became a part of the Shattered Sun Offensive, battling near the Sunwell.

After the battles, routine became part of her life. And she embraced it, finally a proper mixture of duty and free-time was in her schedule, setting herself down in Silvermoon, a quiet house in the grand city. Despite the tragics she had lived through, she remained strong, perhaps her former comrades in the Farstriders aided in this...perhaps.
