Appearance

His old green leather ranger armor, a cloak made of animal hide interwoven with branches and such to provide camouflage. A bow made of ironwood. Northrend gear is a mixture of dark leathers and a metal bow in order to adapt to the cold.

Personality

Shalo possesses a deep rooted pride and confidence in his abilities that can cause him to be somewhat reckless. In terms of everyday life he tends to take a deep interest in the personal problems of people he knows, but honestly couldn't care less about the petty squabbles of nations. He is also a proponent of regional purity, seeing anything but a blood elf in Quel'Thalas sickens him.

History

Shalo was born in Silvermoon to a ranger father and a tailor mother. Life can't really be described as good or bad for them, they made ends meat but days seemed long and repeating. As a young elf he hated to be inside for any extended period of time, preferring to spend time playing with his friends in the woods and hunting with his father. When he was finally old enough he enlisted in the Ranger Corps to learn the same skills his father had. His training continued for many years, one day when he was out hunting he stumbled upon an injured lynx cub and decided to take it home and rehabilitate it. The lynx eventually recovered but refused to go back into the wild, so from that point on it became Shalo's traveling companion and goes by the name of Whiskers. When Arthas started his invasion of Quel'Thalas Shalo and the other rangers tried valiantly to destroy the undead legions but they were of course too strong, During the last stand on Sunstrider Isle Shalo witnessed many of his comrades and friends fall in battle, and even worse the crippling feeling of magical addiction. Reluctantly he absorbed fel energy, hating himself for doing it each time though.

Shalo stayed in Quel'Thalas, doing what he could to protect what remained. During the recent war against the Lich King in Northrend Shalo left Eversong to do whatever he could to help end the tyranny of Arthas. Today he has taken to traveling around doing what he can to boost Sin'dorei pride.
