Skills and Abilities

Stealth-Scout: The dark rangers, unlike the normal rangers, excel more at shadowcraft than anything. Shallah, if she finds a shadow of a structure, tree, or any other figure, she could hide under it and with her knowledge in shadowcraft, enhance the shadow to render her almost unnoticeable; but that only remains if she stands still and doesn't move at all, if she moves, it may create a small fracture in the spell. People who look at the shadow for long enough, and see her move, will notice something strange.

Keep an eye out: With her training given, she could track almost anything if required, and notice the tiniest movements in the dark.

The shadow holds secrets: With her knowledge in engineering, she could dismantle certain traps. The traps she make have shadow a long with it. Like the black arrow poison, all the traps she makes will have an extra poison along with it.

Not a word: She can use shadowcraft to render a person unable to talk, by enhancing the mind numbing poison with shadowcraft. (But not for long, the poison doesn’t last longer than two hours). The tip of the cream: Shallah's arrows are always poisoned with the special shadowcrafted poison dark rangers have.

Appearance

Shallah walks around in dark blue mail armour, a bow on her back along with a one handed sword.

Personality

Shallah is a calm and precise individual, she prefers to keep her words to herself and keep the task at hand; but that is only when she is out in a mission. When she is out of the mission, she is an normal undead, loving to chat with her comrades to the mission or any other friends she might make during her missions.

Alignment: Lawful neutral.

History

Shallah was born in Lordaeron to noble family of knights. Her life as a kid was fine, nothing special happened until she got to the age of eight. In that age she started learning manners and how to act like a proper woman, during that time some of her family joined the Knights of the Silver Hand, thus becoming paladins.

During her teenage-hood she studied about the world because she had to. That’s what she believed was right in becoming a noble: Listening to your parents and going by the rules, because the rules are there to protect you from the lowlife.

At the age of eighteen she got into an arranged marriage and moved out not too far from the house- she got married with a paladin, though she did not love him, she thought it's for the best because that will only make her family's connections stronger.

But all of that did not matter when the plague spread. She ate that piece of bread she got from and Andorhal. She was dying on her bed a day later, the sickness going through her body as slow and as painful as it ever was. Her husband did not know what to do, because so was he: dying. They sought to have a romantic ending to their forced marriage and go out. Knowing what the outcome will do, they decided to take a carriage out of city and just die in the roads.

"Serve and obey." Was the only thing her ghoulish body understood, fulfilling the tasks she was given by her new master: The Lich King.

A year past and she was able to break free from the curse which was laid upon her she ran back to her home only to see how deserted it is. She ventured inside and she saw others like her, dead.. free… Forsaken.

She entered the underground ruins of Lordaeron to understand why they call it Undercity. She went to the main square and watched as their new queen rose with a speech. It sparked the light inside Shallah, she wanted to be something more than an ex-noble woman, she wanted to be-a dark ranger.

Like a few others, she was trained under the other dark rangers in the way of the dark ranger. She choose to be a scout and focus on stealthier tasks than being a killer, because she believed her social skills are well enough be put to use and not be forgotten.

She was training until the earth started to shake, and the ground split into two and spit out fire. She believed she is ready, that all of her training can be put to use now.

She ventured out from the training halls and into the armour. She was in search for a squad she could join: A small strike force that could aid the Forsaken in their cause. She found it, and today she is under the command of Lyste, her new commander, and most likely her future friend.
