Personality

Alignment: Neutral good

Shaedlyn is a loner and will have trouble conversing with others. She shares many of the prejudices of her people and will likely make it known during an encounter with a member of a different race. As for being a druid, she will have trouble understanding those who devastate the land she seeks to protect (or just lack concern over it). This may make her seem somewhat as an alien when in even a smaller settlement (particularly that of a different race).

Shaedlyn carries herself with some grace and pride and may come across as overly serious and humorless. While in reality quite emotional, she will have trouble expressing her feelings in front of others as she would feel vulnerable in doing so. While she has great concern for the fate and restoration of the land, she will be reluctant to help those who she sees as abusing it.

History

Shaedlyn was not born a warrior and even though she sought to be one, she lacked both noble birth and skill with weapons. Instead she made her living as a commoner, yet it was not a happy life for her and she felt she is not giving her people enough. In her younger years, she was awed by the stories of how her people's ancestors fought back the Burning Legion, yet despite her will could not make it to become one of the sentinels.

Given her love for her homeland, the Third War and its aftermath weighted heavily on Shaedlyn, making her melancholic and introverted. But it was then that her relatives noticed the normally distant Shaedlyn would be among the first to do whatever she could to rejuvenate the damaged lands, whether it involved planting trees or helping the wildlife. It turned out that the once unhappy elf had become attached to nature even more as she became distant from the others. Eventually her efforts were noticed and she was offered initiation into the Cenarion Circle, at this point a dream come true for her.

Since then Shaedlyn has been seen performing a number of duties for the circle. She would put great effort into helping prevent further corruption of her people's sacred lands. But at times she would be seen attacking outlanders that would dare try to harvest the ancient trees and recently unwillingly leaving her lands as tasked by the circle.
