Personality

In his old age Sekh has seen the rise and fall of the Horde in all its complexities and hardships. He is honorable, loyal and proud to be part of the Horde, but does not see compassion and freedom in most things. He has learned much in the way not only of fel magics and demonology but also in military tactics and Orcish behavior in battle. Unlike other warlocks, he does not step out of the way and hide from society, but he does not dare to reveal his true calling to others. He constantly tries to balance these complexities, as he sees his warlock ways as a persona of himself, but prides himself as a free orc. He is very much indifferent to the cultures of the races of Azeroth and as such, his true weakness is not knowing much of his enemy or of his friends which may lead to his downfall. Recklessness will often overcome him as well, when things do not go his way. He thrives on organization and control even if he is apathetic to emotions. As he would often plot the best course of action for a given situation, it is hard for him to accept failure and would go berserk at times when his wits got the better of him. His plans would also often involve the use of his allies first, making sure that he is secure and that he gets the best possible income for himself.

His low, raspy voice would easily be distinguished from among other orcs, if he does take the time to interact with them.

Time may also reveal the effects of the demonic power he currently harnesses, but as he is currently facing no threat that may endanger him to use them currently, his pride as a freed orc is what keeps him in check.

In combat, he would not jeopardize how his battle party sees him through prejudice of being a warlock and thus, he would tend to cast fire based-spells instead. As he would not usually battle alone, he would often cast long-ranged spells at the enemy before battle is met through melee. His advice is often heard by the group and his wisdom would often be the advantage against less-organized and brash enemies. Often his advice however would place him at the most convenient position he can be in and would disregard his allies though he knows their worth and do not openly hint of their use to him. If ever he is forced to battle toe-to-toe, his skill with Grimm'golar would often save his skin, though his pike is used more as a walking stick nowadays. It is only when near death that he will call use fel energy and fel magics to save his hide.

History

The orc who would later be known as Sekh was born into the noble and powerful clan of Shadowmoon to a great warrior by the name of Korril. Growing up in a society experiencing tremendous cultural changes Sekh, as with any of his peers, swore themselves to this new culture of demonism and fel practice. The Shadow Council as it seems were the heroes to the younger orcs and the orc chieftains were set aside in the limelight. These chieftains as fate would have it merely became pawns to the Shadow Council or wasted time and resources fighting amongst themselves due to their new found blood lust. In a way, the Council and the practice of fel magics united most into a sense of unity and as fate would have it, they were the only buffer between survival and destruction from the seemingly changed orcs. If not for the new 'leadership', the orcs would have slain each other to extinction. He would learn much of his culture and heritage during the Kosh'harg festival as it was still observed by his father and some of the other clans' families still met (Though, no longer at Oshu'gun, the Holy Mountain) even if the spirits in Oshu'gun would no longer answer them, and it was during these times that he would learn of his race other than the times he would be tutored in the new wave of Dark Shamanism. In a way, he was still able to learn much of the orc's way of life through the teachings of the elders in the festivals and his father, even if they all were turning slowly into weapons of destruction.

During his Om'riggor, he was his father's feathered spear, Grimm'golar to use in hunting the wild game in Nagrand. While the rite of passage went by without any incident slaying a talbuk as his trophy, his father would fall to the axe of a rival orc who gave into his orcish blood lust. Korril would fall not in the heat of battle but in an argument of who's son was best during the hunt. Sekh witnessed the incident as he returned from the fields, and it was there and then that he became a victim of the society which was getting more and more violent by the day. He has learned personally thus, to embrace the present and remember the past heritage of the orcs. It would be the last of his visit to Nagrand.

Most of the enemies of the fearsome Horde were already destroyed in Draenor, and it was with the promise of new lands to conquer from their leaders that the frenzied orcs were tamed and geared for battle. Being an acolyte at the time, Sekh and his peers were trained by their Shadowmoon Elders well. Armed with the knowledge and powers of this darker form of shamanism, Sekh's veins flowed with bloodlust and the hope of conquering lands for his clan and for his people. As they were ready to be launched into the war, a mutiny occured among the higher echelons of the Horde. Blackhand, the warchief of the Horde and puppet of the Shadow Council has been slain. Orgrim Doomhammer took control of the Horde and persecuted warlocks like Sekh. If it wasn't for Gul'dan's intervention and the Shadowmoon Clan's influence back in Draenor, Sekh would have been one of the warlocks slain then. Disappointed at how the war effort turned about, Sekh continued to hone his arts with the rest of his clan, biding their time and amassing their power in Draenor.

With news of the defeat of Orgrim's Horde in Azeroth, the Shadowmoon finally steps into the limelight. Although with a heavy heart, Sekh participated more in battles subduing his brethren and battling the clans instead of destroying their true enemies; the encroaching humans. He would show his prowess in the skirmishes, often acting as support to the larger orcs who met the enemy toe-to-toe. Although hard earned victories come and go and the fights seem more of a stalemate, their Warchief Ner'zul finally did the unthinkable; the opening of more portals to other worlds. In this period, friend and foe were less distinguished, with most just trying to look for a way out to survive the event. Sekh, receiving orders from his Slayer, stayed behind the village, still appalled by Ner'zul abandoning them. It would be here that he would spend the rest of his days, and as more and more join the ranks of the Illidari, Sekh was one of those who were left behind due to his withering age and his memory of his father's death to the effects of corruption. Eventually after years of fending off for themselves, he and the rest of the Shadowmoon remnants were approached by the new Horde and its promise of an unbroken land on Azeroth. Sekh grinned at the news. Finally, it was a chance to finally be able to prove his skill and serve the Horde at his old age, instead of fighting insurgency or trying to survive. Though most of the orcs who met him thought he had withered in time, his fate has just begun. Taking Grimm'golar with him with its adorning feathers now the same color as his hair, he travels to Azeroth to see this new Horde for himself, staying at basements or the local inns until he finally arrived at Azeroth, just in time for a new threat; The Scourge. Still with his motto in his heart though in a different perspective, he remembers his demonic teachings and hope to be embraced in the present Horde, though it will surely be a long way to go.

Sekh was would be first seen by outsiders as he journeys across the fiery Outlands hitch hiking with other adventurers as he makes his way towards the Orcish nation of Durotar. With his old age, he finds difficulty even in completing the whole day travelling. It was seeing his fellow orcs along the way and their pride in themselves that nourished him spiritually. With the help of his tamed talbuk that he brought from caravan traders with the rest of his father's money left, his journey started to be less and less difficult.

Finally Sekh emerges winded and victorious in his journey to Orgrimmar, though a seemingly new problem arises in the form of cultural indifference and discrimination. He hides his nature as a warlock and tries to learn as much as he can not only of the reformed Horde but also of the other races in this new world. He learns much from warlocks at the Cleft of Shadow or at the basements of the inns and houses he travels and indeed, the underground network of warlocks and even those who dream of the old savegery of the Orcs has been kind to him, allowing him refuge during his travels.
