Personality

Seine is a sagely man. Having had a past full of discipline and rigorous training, he keeps his emotions to himself; unless a trustworthy man or woman comes his way. In such an occasion, he will generally confide advice or philosophy upon the victim--er, new friend.

Seine's love for nature is absolute, but his curiosity and general view of acceptance-of-all-things alienated him somewhat from his peers. "Nature" to Seine is a balance of destruction and creation, and what he finds 'unnatural' is usually within the extremes of malevolent magics or practices. He will never hesitate, however, to help someone who has not attempted to harm him or those close to him.

Seine, like all Druids, is drawn to the Emerald Dream. To be away from it causes an unnatural withdrawal of Seine's kind nature, and if pushed to his limits, Seine will snap.

His natural curiosity leads him to new places, however, and he will never pause to leap at the chance for adventure. Perhaps to a destructive end; but Seine is a wise and true Druid, and young-natured as he is, he loves all those around him.

History

Seine Gladekeeper was born to Ce and We'Lun Gladekeeper; both alchemists within Moonglade, the hometown of the family. Ce and We'Lun had gained enough financially to afford a home within the limits of the Moonglade when they were aged at five-hundred. And so, they gave birth to Seine; and the Priestesses of Elune welcomed him with open arms.

From the time when Seine was able to walk, the Priestesses would push heavy training upon him. Training began slowly, with opening up the senses to nature. Seine would be sent alone into the woods, and be told to use what little training he had to 'commune' with nature. Meditating in a forest glade, at the age of fifteen, the still-toddleresque Seine could hear and feel the trees, the birds. He felt Balance in a way that only Druids would have been able.

Of course, Seine's training was far from over. For the next eighty-five years, Seine was trained in Moonglade to use the Druidic Arts. Discipline was a natural part of the process, and at the age of one-hundred, the Priestesses deemed him able to enter the Emerald Dream.

But Seine had gotten lost. For the next fifty years, he would remain in the Emerald Dream, slowly going mad from lack of contact with anyone but nature. The Priestesses, mingled with Seine's natural magics, helped keep Seine alive; but he was slowly losing muscle mass that he'd gained over a century.

When he awoke, Seine found himself unable to walk, and his mind totally withdrawn from madness. The Priestesses had no qualms about helping him for the next thirty years; which is how long it took Seine to walk once more.

His parents, as it seemed, had several other children as Seine was within the Emerald Dream. All of them had their own 'profession' separate from Seine's; about 12 children total. Seine spent the next century helping to raise his siblings, who then went their separate ways. Seine was once again alone with his parents. Soon enough, however, the Priestesses sent Seine into the wilds of Northern Kalimdor (within their borders) to continue his training and defend Moonglade.

In the wilderness Seine learned the Feral arts; he'd been given tokens of power by the Priestesses, and send amidst the Moonkin in order to properly test his powers of Balance. In another hundred years, he'd built himself up, even going so far as to learn the art of the sword (as opposed to the Glaive) from the few Sentinels trained in such an art.

After the Third War, Seine moved to the newly-created Darnassus, the World Tree of Teldrassil having just been born, and in need of people to help defend and create the new island. Seine watched, however, as the Night Elves began to reveal themselves to the world. His curiosity piqued, having been held back for three centuries from the rest of Kalimdor and Azeroth itself.

Seine now continues his training; still a very young Druid, in nature, his wisdom grows with every experience, and he takes his position as a Druid seriously. While wary of the Night-Elven inferiority complex, Seine has kept himself as one who accepts all manners of life--and even has a critical view of Darnassus; so he keeps himself in the wilds, only coming to cities when help is needed, or when he has no other choice. But to today, Seine continues to do his best and continue to help the world's balance, in any way he feels he possibly can.
