Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Sedkan is always walking around in his battle armour, which is scratched dented from many battles. He also always wears his Lights Crusade Tabard and a cloak of some description.

Other: Sedkan has a long scar across his right shoulder where he was struck with an axe.

Personality

Sedkan is a very laid back dwarf, he will take the chance to go for a nice flagon of mead whenever the chance represents itself. He is outright a faithful and loyal dwarf, he will stick by his cause until whatever end it may meet. Usually Sedkan is friendly and will indulge anyone with a nice conversation. But he also has a nasty temper, he is quick to anger or annoy. Once annoyed he will seem to become very violent. However, none of these are followed through on as he sticks by his Knight code of "Vigilance and restraint".

History

Sedkan was born into the Lightbeard clan. Every member of the clan went down the profession or either a priest or Paladin and served the light. Sedkan always looked up to his father and was determined to be a powerful and dutiful Paladin just as he was. In his younger years, Sedkan was trained by his father in very basic use of the light, such as to heal a scratched knee or hand. Sedkan had a talent for the light and he quickly learned how to use the light to heal small cuts.

When the dwarves joined the Alliance in the Second War, Sedkan's father did not go off to help the armies fight Orcs on the frontlines. He stayed back at home and wondered around the land of Dun Morogh and Thelsamar and helped the citizens with whatever they required. Every once in awhile he would also have to fight off small parties of Orcs that were scouting the area.

Sedkan joined his father on these adventures and quickly grew into a capable fighter and learnt even more about how to use the light. He could hold his own off against an Orc, dispatching them quickly with his hammer. One day while Sedkan's father was away across the Loch, Sedkan went on a patrol of Thelsamar. The village was attacked by a pair of Orcs. Sedkan managed to kill them, but not without taking a heavy strike from an axe to the shoulder. The wound quickly became infected and it was looking like he was going to lose his arm. Luckily, Sedkan's father returned and he managed to use the light and save Sedkan's arm, but a large scar was left in it's place.

With the end of the Second War, Sedkan and his father returned to Ironforge and got back into the routine of a simple life. Sedkan joined the ranks of the Paladins and spent his days helping out the dwarves of Dun Morogh.

But there was trouble in the family.

Many members of the Lightbeard Clan had been found betraying the light and dealing in Necromancy. Their evil deeds had lead to several dwarves being killed in Thelsamar. Having their plans found out a majority of the Lightbeard clan fled from Ironforge and their location remains unknown. As for Sedkan and his father, they broke off from the clan, due to the fact that they betrayed the light. Sedkan and his father then decided to bare the name Brent instead. The memory of the Lightbeard clan has faded from memory now. However those that remember now refer to the clan as "Blightbeard".

Once the Third War came about, Sedkan's father stayed at Ironforge to protect the city from any Orc or Undead attacks that may come their way. Sedkan however couldn't just stay back and wait for an attack. He left the city of Ironforge and went into the world. Going from town to town helping citizens. Sedkan mainly travelled the roads of Dustwood, learning that undead ran free along their plains.

Eventually after years of travelling, Sedkan found himself meeting Gerald Grandale, Lord of The Lights Crusade. After some discussion and a few flagons of mead, Sedkan joined The Lights Crusade and furthered his knowledge of the light.

Sedkan now spends his days as a Knight of The Lights Crusade, stationed in Booty Bay due to their actions in Stormwind. He waits on orders from Gerald, eager to clear their name and return to their attention to the undead threat.
