History

Sarnis was born to a couple that lived in Suncrown Village, his father had been a Ranger before he had suffered crippling injuries to his legs from a Troll, his mother an novice enchantress, raising money by imbuing magic household items and the like to be lighter, stronger, and other things.

Growing up he often asked his mother about how enchanting and sometimes, magic worked, he had even tried to help out with the enchanting itself a few times, eventually coming to help with his mother's work, he often asked friendly Magi who stopped in their village about magic, many days he found himself day-dreaming as young boy's do as an powerful Arch-Magi, one of them even consisting of turning massive amounts of Gnolls into tasty cow's, saving a village from their raiders and famine. Determined to become a Magi, and maybe even a hero, a week after his 98'th birthday, he set out to Dalaran.

In his time there, while he was often complemented at first for his quick grasping of spells, he was critiqued often when they went in-depth, while it was tough and rather frustrating, Sarnis for his love of magic, did not give up.

16 year's later, on his 114'th birthday, the first war begun, when new's of the new threat that were Orc's had reached him, he decided to prepare by practicing utilization of spells in combat, by the two year's have passed and the second war had begun, he was deemed to be skilled enough to help fight against the Orcs, he was away when the two sacking's of Dalaran had happened.

At the end of the second war, with the Orcs rounded up and most of the fighting over, he headed back to Dalaran to continue his studies, while he was happy to get some hands-on experience with warfare, he was glad for the bloodshed to have been over... and even gladder to be alive at the end of the conflict.

He continued his studies as the year's went by, even starting to tutor a new potential magi who had just arrived to Dalaran.

Engrossed in his studies and determined to be a good teacher, he had not stopped often to chat with others and therefore, he had only heard rumors about the undead Scourge, while he heard about events about the razing of Strathlome, he only started to listen and worry about the scourge when he had heard of the tragedy of the death of the king of Lordaeron, he got ready to heed to the call to arms, should the Scourge spread southward.

When new's of what happened to Quel'Thalas by the hands of the Scourge reached him, he mourned for a day at the probable death of his parents and old-friends, he began to focus on his studies in an effort to keep his mind off the sad event, and a new and mysterious pain and thirst for mana.

During the destruction of Dalaran, he had at first help defend a small part of the city from the Scourge, however when the city crumbled and was ultimately destroyed, an more experienced Magi had hastily weaved together a portal to the south of Dalaran, saving Sarnic and others from being crushed by debris.

At this point, convinced that the Scourge would overwhelm all of Azeroth, he began to make a dangerous journey back to Quel'Thalas, while he generally managed to avoid the Scourge along his way, he had a few hostile run-ins with them, he also managed to help out bands of soldier's and even a paladin once, by assisting them in destroying a pocket or two of undead.

When he arrived at the Blackened Forest[also know as the Ghostlands] , he stood in shock at the dreadful sight of the razed forest, after getting over his shock he went north toward Silvermoon, he let out a shout in joy when he first saw a group of survivors, given new hope, he then spent the remainder of the third war helping rebuild Silvermoon and reclaiming the land from the Scourge.

Deciding to follow his childhood dreams of becoming a hero, mostly due to an unsatisfying period in life, he's left Silvermoon again, to adventure.
