Although he is loyal to those who are his friends and comrades, he will kill them or attempt to if he suspects betrayal. He isn't with out a odd sense of humor and can be unsuspectingly charismatic when the situation calls for it. Because of this he has been labeled something of a con artist.

History

Sanguis Del'averi Sunfire was born poor to his mother, Velthria Averi Bloodphoenix, he watched her struggle to support him for his childhood and adolescence. It bothered him but it had been all he had known, he didn't often venture to Stormwind, and because of his ignorance to actual human interaction he fed off of the stereotypes his peers and neighbors said. He studied as a mage in the lower end of the city achieving a sub-par education on the field. He enjoyed and spent most of his spare time in what is now called Murder row, listening to the rantings of drunks, idealists, and shady individuals, because of this he never succeeded past mediocrity. Although He admired the strength amongst the relatively lower class and further enjoyed their unity with one another.

He began hanging out with these people, getting into trouble with the law and making friends in shadier environments. The added stress that accumulated worsened his mother's health. One evening she told him that looking at him reminded him of his father, someone she rarely talked about. His father had lived with his wife and family, Sanguis and his mother were left to fend for themselves, something he always hated him for. She told him she didn't want to see him again because all he did was bring her pain. He was hurt, but understood he left and didn't return for decades.

During this time he acquired a group of elves who believed in the same radical supremacist views as he did and formed a organization called The Dynasty. They led rallies and posed as a political party, but made most of their profits through murder. They attacked buildings and functions, killing their own, who wished to become peaceful and coexistent. He was jailed for incidents related to crimes, but never directly for a murder, which would only make his Dynasty brethren more infatuated with him upon release.

During Silvermoon's massacre Sanguis stood in disbelief by the chaos, he was for the first time in his life petrified with fear and shellshocked from everything he had ever held onto being relentlessly slaughtered. He was prepared to die when a mage was rounding up people and excavating them from the area through portals. He was sent away with other survivors, huddled in blankets with blank blood splattered faces. He didn't speak, and he began to go through withdrawals.

After Silvermoon was attacked, Sanguis' colleagues returned and called themselves the Blood Dynasty. The Blood Dynasty became dangerously more radical causing the group to lay low and focus on more diplomatic means. Worried for his mother he returned to her only to find out she had been placed in medical care and was dying rapidly. His actions were stemmed partly from his desperation, his need for arcane was insatiable; he then began extracting fel energies from crystals to stay alive. One day while going to see his mother he made amends and apologized for his unruly behavior; she told him the name of his father and that he even had a sister some where in the world. He wanted to find her, he left his organization with a friend of his, Vashiel, and left to go find this Reigen Sunfire.

Years later he chose to reside in Ghostlands, wishing to strengthen himself, for his comrades of the Dynasty, and his sister, the only family he had left that he knew about. He was being pursued by guards for his ties to the group but barley eluded them each time. His life changed, when one night he was caught and had no where to run. His pursuers knew of his ties to the murders, and the Dynasty's attacks. He had no choice but to fight. Being a poor mage he stood little chance against the group of mercenaries. But two elves came to his rescue, far more powerful than he was with grotesque yet obedient creatures by their sides.

He was mesmerized by them, and even slightly infatuated with them, when they slaughtered the mercenaries with little difficulty. For the first time in his life he had been truly humbled and begged for their training, which they declined. Yet due to his persistence and charismatic persuasion they taught him all they knew about demonology. Over the years his knowledge grew, and he found new sources of information. He studied in Ghostlands and traveled to bind demons to his will until he was ready to resume his search for his sister. He began going by the name Sanguis Sunfire, in order to help him locate her easier.

He finally met Reigen Sunfire and the two eventually formed a close bond over their similar lineage. However, he was slowly driven to madness with an obsession with knowing his father. This led him into a string of crimes against a few noble houses and aristocrats which ultimately ended in his death. During his exploits earlier in his life he had met a female mercenary named Vivalyn Ridaken they shared a child and gave him to a non-hostile relative before they continued their own deeds. Vivalyn later resurrects Sanguis with the plans to enroll him into the Magistry. Since he committed his crimes with a mask his face is hardly recognizable to those whom he committed crimes against. Using the family name of his mother 'Bloodphoenix' and his middle name, 'Del'averi' he successfully infiltrated the Magistry and was appointed the title Magister after much training and studying.
