• Other: Salviros has broad shoulders, but his muscle tone reflects a more lean build which has been the off-product of being an archer for many years.

Appearance

Having obsessed most of his life over archery and the Rangers, Salviros put his “clothes fund” into various outfits, which suit the environment he hunts. His casual clothes are made from a knock-off designer; it consists of a loose white shirt, a teal sash, accompanied with studded jeans and a pair of work boots. Sometimes he will wear a Silvermoon tabard. He has four other outfits as well, each one covering for camouflage for a different environment. His favorite one, which had a forest-green color, could be more seen than his snowy-white, autumn-gold, desert-tan, or his armored black. Each outfit, aside from his common clothes, features a cloak with a deep hood or face-wrap.

Personality

Being a proud Elf and one who honors his history, Salviros strongly believes race-mixing is treason, and he views traitors as creatures worse than a blood-soaked barbarian or even a human. He does, however, refuse to accept stereotypes of races as factual information. He shifts through periods of introversion and being social depending on the company near or around him. He can be short spoken or long winded under these circumstances as well. This elf is one who would rather act with a bow and quick wit than a silly debate with someone as stubborn as an ass on subjects of morality. Salviros could best be described as a stone-hearted man though, and shows little empathy for one he has already written off as unacceptable, but despite that he still maintains a code of honor. He can be a mild snob or pompous to those he pre-judges as someone he'd label unacceptable.

He had a curious interest in those who seem stuck-up or angry at others for no reason. His first reaction is normally to be kind to them, and subtly mock them, but this can only last so long before he finally write them off as an “unacceptable” or he befriends them.

History

Salviros began as the younger brother to Ocule Quickmist. Their father, Dalsteen Quickmist, was a ranch hand. His mother, Zingarina, was a ranger, who met Dalsteen tending her steed. Due to the position of both Zingarina and Dalsteen, Ocule and Salviros grew up in the rural parts of Quel‘thalas, where they tended to the simple living of village life rather than the busy city life. As a result he gained a very subtle tinge in his dialogue, which is give-a-way of where he was raised.

Growing up this way, money was never too big of an issue, and the family managed to get along off of second-rate wares and fashions. Salviros certainly was one of the most costly members of the family, always wanting new books and clothing, and the family always spoiled their “baby”. It was Ocule who was jealous of Salviros, and it was Ocule who never received the same affection, as he was expected to grow up and surpass his father in merit. Sibling rivalry amongst the two was relatively high, but Ocule almost always came out on top, but a key factor to this had been Ocule's age, which was 10 years Salviros' senior.

In his early adolescence, Salviros picked up archery as a way to pass time. He did not expect take it too seriously like his mother had wanted, as he always assumed he would take up his father's job as a ranch hand. Though as time went on and he progressed to the middle of his adolescence, he really fell in-love with his talent, and often tried to impress his peers and village girls with his aim and trick shots.

These talents paved way into Salviros' adulthood. As a full-grown elf, Salviros enlisted into the Silvermoon military as an archer. He toured the second war fighting with Lordaeron until forced to retreat to the burning forest now known as the Blackened Woods or Ghostlands. After the war, to keep his pocket full and to seek adventure, Salviros enlisted with Kul'Tiras, and during the third war, he'd been one of the Elves sent over-sea shortly before the destruction of his homeland by the scourge. When Archimonde had fallen to the allied forces, he requested a leave home to help his people, and was allowed, but with no promise for the pay for the remainder of his term.

One way or another, he found himself fighting for Prince Kael'Thas as many other High Elves had, and witnessed the fiasco with Garithos. He, led by Kael'Thas, joined his brothers in feasting on Fel and returned to Silvermoon to help rebuild. When the city had been rebuilt, and the Blood Elves found themselves among the Horde, Salviros more-or-less drifted, finding his money along the road. He promised himself when the era of peace ended among the Horde and Alliance he'd return to fight for Silvermoon. That time came, but he has not yet reenlisted.
