Skills and Abilities: Salamance's abilities are:

Animal instincts: His years of being alone has given him a sort of instinctive response to certain situations, as of such being able to be quite evasive in certain situations, whether that be a battle, or a simple way of avoiding certain questions. Either way he is good at avoiding what he doesn't want to get close too.

'Honour the fallen': Salamance has a good amount of stamina over all, as his determination to 'honour the fallen' gives him a certain drive. This drive forces him to push on through life, whether he is under emotional stress or other kinds of stress.

Chef special: His time alone has taught him how to cook. and how to do it well. After all, spending five years alone in a wild place, one needs to learn how to cook. He is quite the cook at that, being able to make even rancid rat meat have a certain flare to it's smell.

Psycho analysation: He often reads into people and understands what they are saying behind false words, gathering evidence for every word they say. Yes, you have to be very careful how you talk to Salamance, because he will use your own words against you, and even question who you are if you go against what you said you stand for. He watches peoples reactions like a hawk does it's prey. Matching each word with each emotion.

Jazz hands: Salamance is a great dancer, he has spent many years practicing and loves to dance, it is the one thing he is passionate about, besides revenge. He is quite the dancer, able to teach people a number of steps, all they need to do is ask.

Other: He smells like the wild, it is a very light aroma and the reason behind it being is he spent so long around the wild, he began to smell like it, so predators couldn't detect his scent as well as they used too.It might have also been the fact he spent all those nights sleeping in areas with tall grass.

Appearance

He can always be seen wearing his red headband, no matter where he goes he always wears it, whatever the occasion. Other than that he is usually seen with his armour covering most of his body, his pole-arm being buckled by a makeshift sheath.

When he isn't wearing armour he usually wears light clothing, usual quite soft, to help him feel rather free. His skin is rather rough, this is especially visible around his knuckles in which area it is visible he has been in many fist fights. He has a rather circular scar at the near center of his chest, about where his heart would be under the skin.

He has quite a feral and wild look about him, his eyes being quite sharp and quick to any movements around him. His teeth, and especially his canines are quite large and sharp, this is very visible when he smiles. Over all he looks quite a bit wilder than a regular elf you'd get from Silvermoon.

He usually carries himself with a strong presence, walking with a sort of determination in himself. He also usually wears quite a dark and angry look, underlining this is a look of sadness. This is usually used to warn other people not to come near him. He isn't in the mood to be disturbed.

Personality

Salamance always comes off as angry to people he doesn't know trying to put as much social walls between him and them, he doesn't like the idea of them getting close to him, after all, he doesn't want to get hurt again, by seeing someone get hurt he actually likes.

He usually analyses peoples words, watching for how they word things and why they word things. He is simply trying to see what they want, after all, everyone has a price, and he wants to know why they are speaking to him. He is quite weary and often tries to psycho analyse everything they do.

If he is sad he is usually more reasonable and let's these social barriers collapse more easily, ironically his very sadness invokes a chance at making friends, this may result in happiness, short term or not.

Once you get to know him, he can be quite like-able, he would go quite a way out for the people he trusts and cares for, he believes if they have put this much effort into being his ally, he should do his best to help them and put as much, if not more effort into helping them.

History

Salamance was number six, that's right he came out of his mother after five of his brethren, and two more came out after him. With such a large family Salamance was usually the one that was forgotten about, he was not the oldest, or the youngest, the smartest or even the one with the most talent. As of such he fell through the cracks, he was the out cast of the family, the one that everyone seemed to forget about. This was the start of why his social barriers were created. His family even forgot about him, so how could he trust anyone else?

As he grew up, being the child nobody cared for, he got into quite a bit of trouble, trying to seek attention. This meant getting into a lot of fights and even causing trouble. However, this did no good for Salamance, he was further out casted as the child that would end up a 'drug addict' or a 'thug'.

He moved away from his family, choosing to live with the beasts, this is when he started to become wild. However, one day he came across an elf, her name was Vindel. He remembers her name as clearly as she pronounced it to this day. She was quite intrigued as to see why an elf would be living in such conditions. The two soon become friends, and soon, more than that. This was completely new to Salamance, he had never had someone who cared about him before. This was a very strange concept to him.

One day, Vindel taught him how to dance, an experience that gave him great joy. Although he struggled at first he soon became a natural, doing the tango, to the fox trot to other such dances. However, his joy would not last. One day, Salamance visited Vindel, only to see her have another man in her arms. This crushed Salamance, the one person he cared for, with another. What did he do? Well, he ran, and ran, and kept on running.

Eventually, he bumped into a figure in the dark night, the light from the moon only revealing a symbol of a Fang on the figures cloak. The figure simply gave Salamance a letter, which read along the lines of. 'Want to help? Want respect? Do you want to do good? Then join the Full Assault and Naval Group. (F.A.N.G)' Salamance was captivated by the idea of joining a group, after all, a group could signify as some sort of family right? He was right, to some level, he would not find this out until he joined. This was many years later however.

When the sun well was destroyed, he couldn't help but feel the immense pain it gave off. He felt weak on many levels, the constant pain gave him a tingling and lingering sensation of anguish down his spine. As luck would have it, another elf came across Salamance, this elf was the very same elf that was with Vindel on that day. His name was Vanrial, and he offered help to Salamance, partially out of guilt and empathy. Salamance did not accept this help at first, his own thick head would not allow such an action to be taken. After Vanrial's reasoning and jabbing at him however, he eventually gave into his request. After all, a man who takes a constant whipping from an unknown source will eventually accept help from anyone.

Once Salamance had taken enough Fel and he no longer needed to take it, he would stop rather immediately, believing that the in take of Fel was only used for extreme measures, and that any sort of drug, or healing mechanism is bad, even going so far as to say. 'Using the Light for healing purposes is taking a short cut.'

Vanrial left Salamance after that encounter, to disappear from his life as quickly as he had entered. The last thing Salamance thought he saw on Vanrial's cloak was a small fang. With such an exhausted body at the time of seeing such a thing, he couldn't be sure, he dismissed the claim.

Eventually he decided to join F.A.N.G as his years of going on without someone to care for, or to care for him, eventually became too much. He was placed in a squad, 'squad twelve' and was assigned the role of being the leader of the group. There were five others in the group, two elves, one female and the other being male. An Orc, a Tauren and a Troll.

Salamance was not used to the concept of his group, having a special sort of fear for the Orc, this was partially upon the beasts mighty body. But it was also a reflection on the rumors he had heard. The rumors about how Orc's were controlled by demons and Fel, he had to ask himself. 'Could I end up being controlled like that one day?' Unbeknown st to him, he was already being controlled, just a pawn in a game of chess on the larger scale of things.

Eventually, he got on quite well with his squad, even having a few running jokes. As time past he began to think of this group as his own family, or as a special sort of brethren to him. Little did he know that his joy would not last, and that a few unexpected twists in life would take place in a matter of a few years.

Salamance gave all of his squad headbands, thinking of the idea that wearing these would help them identify who was in the squad and who was not, so they didn't take any friendly fire. This idea worked in their favour every time they went to battle.

In this group they killed people in the name of 'F.A.N.G' believing they were doing good. Eventually, they realized this organization wasn't all it was made to be, after realizing that they had killed an innocent man with two daughters . The group was actually a group that had their own agenda. At this point the squad began to think. But now they knew too much. So F.A.N.G had every single member of this squad killed. Or so they thought. Salamance faked his own death.

After a while he began to kill the mercs that had killed his group, before burying his allies and attending their, and his own funeral. He soon left to go into the Barrens, not to be seen again for five years. He always wears his headband now, too honour the fallen, and now he seeks vengeance upon the very group that he worked for. Guilt still lays on his mind, his comrades dead, his family not knowing he was alive, the innocent people he killed. He feels it all, and he hasn't forgiven himself for any of it.
