Other: Saaji has managed to whittle back his tusks (An incredibly painful experience) due to him being unable to stand them getting in the way. He also bears 3 tattoo's on his left shoulder. These each represent the people in his family. His Mother, Father, and one that has recently been done, his Sister.

Personality:

Saaji is an incredibly friendly and loyal person, contrary to his upbringing, and regards anyone he meets and interacts with a possible friend. This has led him into a lot of trouble in the past as encounters with people who are not of the friendly persuasion have introduced Saaji to the back of their hands. He is the kind of Troll to take nothing seriously and find the fun in most situations. He often finds many things amusing, which can lead to him coming off as annoying and offensive. He is, however, not so much a laid back person when angered (Although this is rather hard to achieve) and will fight with people if they get on his bad side. Usually, this outcome comes about when Saaji's friends or relatives are threatened or ridiculed.

Saaji has never been good at fighting, though he does try his best. He is fond of using long spears and polearms, but has no idea how to use the damned weapon, as he says. He is clumsy but he is also the first to poke fun at himself for his shortcomings. Although many of his tribe dwell deep into traditional things such as cannibalism and voodoo, Saaji was not concerned as much as others when Thrall asked the Darkspear to give up many of their ancient ways, these two being the more questionable ones, even though Saaji was brought up to believe that these were the cornerstones of his races existence. He felt this way due to his admiration for the Orc's and Tauren, seeing their great tribes and clans and how they had managed to become such an amazing force without the darkness of voodoo to aid them.

There are not many things that Saaji hates or takes offense to, but the things that he is not too impressed with are the other tribes of Trolls' stubbornness, seeing their obvious need to cling on to the old ways foolish in the face of progress; Progress towards bettering their race and benefiting those around them (As many tribes are against the Horde)

History

Saaji was born on the Darkspear Isles a twin, his sister known as Rekkia, and having mostly the same physical features (Aside from the obvious), which made it hard to distinguish either of them while they were young. They were the children of a hunter, and his almost slave like mate, who did nothing apart from occasionally collect food from bushes and trees, and see to their children. His father was a part of the tribes major hunting party that scouted many islands around their own for food and resources such as food and fresh water. As such, he had little time for Saaji, and even less for the twin Rekkia.

Even as a child, Saaji was taught to see the females in the tribe as nothing more than material possessions, even his own sister. Saaji was too close to his sister to obey this, playing and enjoying themselves every day, and he was eventually punished for treating her as a friend. That day, Saaji was told he either followed what his father told him, or else he'd be treated as badly as she was. He was not alone, for this was the way many children were raised with each other, regardless of their friendships with the female occupants of the islands. He would learn this lesson, and grow to become cold and unfriendly towards his sister and even his mother.

Saaji and his father lived separately to his sister and mother, and once he had grown enough, he was to begin going hunting with his father alone. Saaji tried his hardest to show interest in this, if only to please his father, but found himself lacking in both motivation and physical ability. Luckily, his father was patient, and believed that Saaji would one day carry on his job as a hunter, providing for the family and the tribe. Saaji had many friends who were being trained the same way, but his father was far more intent on his success, taking him out more often than his friends were. Saaji was initially opposed to this, stating he only wished to spend time with his friends, and to leave hunting to the people who were good at it. His father waved this away, saying that it was necessary of him to comply.

A few more years had gone by, and Saaji was returning from another hunt with the hunting party of the islands, when there was a warning of Murloc attacks in a well-known part of their territory. Many of the old and young Trolls alike raced to meet the conflict , and Saaji was dragged along with them. There he witnessed the Murloc's for the first time, having never seen a creature of its kind in his life. As the men went at the sea creatures with spears and bows, Saaji sat and watched, unable to do much combat wise.

Saaji helped carry injured Troll's back to the dwellings. It was then revealed to all that the Murloc's were somehow under the sway of a "Sea Witch", and were a major threat to the villages. Saaji's father was injured in the conflict, and so he looked after him for the mean time, while the rest of the islanders fought the Murloc's, and now a group of invading humans. Life had gotten a lot harder, and Saaji was feeling it. More news of another strange race appearing on the shores had come around, only this time, they were friendly. Thrall and his Horde had arrived, and brought with them aid against both the human and murloc resistances. Saaji learned of the island's leader, Sen'jin, forming a bond with the friendly strangers, and was immediately fascinated by their culture. It was the first time he had encountered a non-hostile race in his life, and one day while collecting herbs for his father, he stopped and spoke to several Orc's, learning of their culture, and also of their great exodus from internment camps and the like, to the mighty continent of Kalimdor.

The Orc's were called away by the blowing of a war horn, and Saaji followed to see. some had formed up in a line at the mouth of a cave, and one pointed at Saaji. He swiftly shook his head and returned to his father. When he arrived he couldn't stop talking about the Orc's and their hardships and their voyage to Kalimdor, an landmass no Troll had ever known before. It was not long until the Troll's on the island had begun to feel a tremor beneath the ground, and panicked. As the Orc's and their leader emerged from a cave to the northern part of their island, they all rallied the Troll's and brought them to ships waiting on the shores. A few of Saaji's friends had come to help him and tell him of Sen'jin being killed by murlocs and him asking the Orc's to lead the Troll people off the island and to safety. The ground began to shake violently, but Saaji was reluctant to leave, as he had no idea what was going on, much like the others, and also did not fully trust these new strangers. Confused but slightly brave, Saaji took his mother, sister and carried his father and rushed to one of the ships, along with what belongings the women could carry. The rest of his tribe did the same, scrambling to get of the, what seemed to be, sinking island.

Saaji looked out at the place which he had called home for his entire life, before saying goodbye and taking his father somewhere to rest. It was at this point that Saaji began to question what happened on the island, and after being informed by a few Trolls and Orcs, he began to change. His personality became that of a nicer person, and after many years of silence to his sister, finally spoke to her again. He explained to her how to care for his fathers wounds, how to use herbs and medicines. On their voyage he learned much about Orc culture and history, and afterward began to doubt many of the ritualistic practices of his people, such as Voodoo and Cannibalism. When the ship had landed in Kalimdor, and with his father healed, Saaji went with the Orcs to explore the land. They met the Tauren, another race that Saaji became deeply interested in, and after months in the company with both he began to feel different from his Troll brethren.

A collective was forming now, and Saaji's tribe had sworn allegiance to Thrall and the Horde, an act which Saaji respected greatly, as he wished to follow the Orcs and Tauren and hopefully that they would be able to better his race. It has been a few years now, and even through the 3rd war, Saaji has stayed loyal to the Horde he knows, and after Thrall's decree outlawing both questionable ritual practices and sexism in Troll culture, he has grown to become a much more refined individual. He still believes in Loa spirits however, fearing that if he should stray too far from the protection of his new found allies, they will exact revenge for his lack of faith in the Voodoo. He seeks an experienced Shaman or Witch Doctor that will offer him either training or Wards so that he can protect himself from such Loa and their wrath.

He now works a herbalist, aiding Witch Doctors, Alchemists and Shaman with ingredients they may require. Saaji lives with his sister now, and the two have grown slightly closer again. Saaji, after Thrall's decree, had apologized to his sister, and even though she hasn't come to fully forgive him or the many other males of her tribe, she tolerates him, and in time perhaps will be able to accept him again. Saaji's parents wandered off into the Barren's to live, his father obviously to hunt, and his mother, because she has nowhere else to go. He visits them often, almost once a week with his sister, bringing herbs and roots to aid in cooking and certain rituals for the meals they have.
