Personality

Saadra is a woman of duty. Her respect for work ethic is unmatched by anyone other than the most ardent of workaholics. She has an inbred, deep respect for law and order, even to the point of overlooking corruption. Saadra is thoughtful and easily describable as a good-natured person. What she doesn't want people to know is that her diligence and kindness is offset by a venomous ambition which has ruined her on more than one occasion.

Saadra's goals fluctuate between 'just barely floating on water' to completely surpassing her peers in every shape and form. She's a chronic overachiever bent on undermining the very fabric of law and adopting it as her own. She's interested in power and often tries to put herself in positions where she holds a great deal of it.

It's difficult to truly label Saadra as good or evil, as she is inherently neutral. She is interested in power and control and worst of all, she plays by the rules to achieve these. Her long life has allowed her a set of talents and skills that supplement her goals further.

History

Saadra was born a very, very, very long time ago. Most of her life was filling the shoes of her matriarchy as a servant to Naaru, a sort of monk lifestyle. This entailed hard work, and no expectations for a reward. She was ultimately content with this, but it took a few centuries for her to realize her real potential. Ambition in her society was a dangerous thing, or at least at the levels she worked at. For many years she repressed taking that 'extra step' or the extra credit, and skated by in life with the greatest of ease.

Once the Draenei felt it important they aid the Alliance, Saadra thought it was her true chance to shine. Amongst the droves of Humans and Dwarves and Gnomes and Night Elves, she felt her efforts could be respected and revered for their true essence. Soon enough, she felt that a 'Blue-skinned Goat-monstrosity' wasn't the title she enjoyed hearing among the more racially prejudiced Alliance. Saadra decided she'd try to gain a sort of fame anonymously. Saadra spent her extra time writing up a horde of stories ranging for scientific analysis, to poetry, to short stories, to steamy romance novels, in the earlier centuries of her life. She'd take the ultimate challenge, translating them into common and sending the mass of literature out and into the wild.

Having difficulty finding an objective publisher, Saadra had a few issues getting her works 'out there'. She turned to the next best alternative. After a day long trek, she wound up in Booty Bay, a 'bastion of neutrality', a place described to her as entirely objective. After finding a secure independent publisher, she managed to get her best works out on the market. Although it was no 'instantaneous' rise to fame, it was the jumpstart to getting her noticed. A scout working for the Steamwheedle Cartel, who took a genuine interest in this 'foreign mindbomb' (A far more suitable title in Saadra's view.) decided to give her an interview. Once this scout realized her extreme gullibility, along with the rock-solid work ethic and repressed desire, he decided to give this one a chance.

In a relatively short amount of time Saadra had risen a good amount up the Cartel ladder as a mere worker. Filing reports, mass translations, accounting, surveys, and just about anything else the goblins would let her do. Due to her multi-tasking nature, she pulled together a massive workload. A large combination of several lower level jobs had just turned her into a very versatile power of the Cartel. Currently, she avoids getting caught up in Draenic politics and Alliance racists by staying as far away as possible.
