Appearance

Rukil is a relatively average Orc in almost every aspect of his appearance, so plain that he would hardly stand out in a crowd in any way. The only thing that might be noted is that he wears very ragged, simple clothing, barely better than the garb of a Peon.

Personality

Rukil is a friendly, cheerful Orc with a simple, laid-back attitude. He is usually welcoming of most strangers, unless they belong to the Alliance or seem to be threatening his pigs. He is very fond of animals, and pigs in particular, to a point where he values them almost as highly as most Orcs value their wolves. He has something of an inferiority complex, although he avoids making it too visible. To boot, he rarely approaches strangers himself, and prefers to keep a low profile. He is somewhat cowardly for an Orc, although he'll stand his ground if he has to.

History

Rukil was born in one of the internment camps in Hillsbrad, and was orphaned at an early age. Thus, he grew up never knowing his parents, and neither did he know which Clan they hailed from. His youth during these miserable years was spent doing whatever the Human guards ordered him to, from not just sitting around to sitting around, and not distract them. He made friends with many of the other Orcish children, but he couldn't understand their parents, and mostly avoided the older Orcs. However, he never heard much of his people's history, and despite being able to see through holes in the fence of the camp, never had any idea that he didn't belong in the camp.

When the Orcish Horde attacked the Humans and liberated the captive Orcs from the camps, Rukil couldn't understand a thing. Where did these people come from? Why were they killing the Humans? Still, he was relieved to be free from the guards, and gladly let the Orcs take him away from them. As they left the camp behind, he was amazed by the sheer size of the world, and was not getting any less confused the further they left the camp behind. He gradually began to try to talk to the Orcs around him, but most of them replied in a language he couldn't understand.

The world only grew bigger and bigger when Thrall lead the Horde away from the Eastern Kingdoms. Although he had learnt a bit of the language of his people by this point, he was still oblivious to his people's history or culture, and many of the phrases confused him. Still, he pressed on, and tried to make the best of it. At one point the ships wrecked upon the shores of an island, but Rukil was too afraid to venture far. He decided he would assist with the repairs of the ship instead, convinced that the sooner it was repaired, the sooner could they leave. When they left the island behind, together with the curious Trolls, he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. As bad as the experience had been for him, he had no idea what really had transpired on the island.

When they arrived in Kalimdor, Rukil stayed behind with the women and children, while the Horde's armies ravaged across the land. He had no major influence on the war, and spent most of his time watching over the other non-combatants of the Horde. When the Horde had finally acquired a foothold in the new continent, Rukil moved closer to the newly established city of Orgrimmar. He spent his days on a pig farm, growing fond of the work and enjoying the company of the animals and fellow farmhands alike. And like this he remained. He was content, although as stories of his people began to reach him, he began to long for a more glorious future.
