Personality

Riggs always paid full attention to the rules of war and before being killed, he was an aspiring Blademaster who took to master the maul, his soulbound-weapon of choice. He is very calculating and complex, and sometimes wanders off muttering to himself, observing the surroundings and talking of nothing but war. In his death he remains the same, and if he ever got a chance to kill an enemy while he or she is unarmed, he would still give his enemy the chance to fight back honorably. He follows and sticks to the codes of his nation, Durotar.

History

As an orc born in the Red World, Riggs grew and fought under the banner of the Old Blackrock Clan. His friends called him Blackhide early on because of his darker skin tone, even before his undeath. With this, most of his friends looked up to him as seemingly physically stronger and looks to him as a leader, even though that was only by his appearance that they judged him to be better. As a kid, he always played the leader when they pretended to be raiders and blademasters, and he always aspired to be a blademaster since birth. Being born at a time of the warlocks, he never really got into the notion of shamanism and the elements, and thus was born somewhat of a brute.

He took up arms once he was old enough immediately, and thus became a grunt in the ranks of the Blackrock Clan during the Second war, seeing little combat due to his inexperience. His fourth battle saw him immediately captured by noble knights from Lordaeron and put into an Internment Camp with the rest of his troop. Following the Horde to a new promised land, Riggs was able to prove himself, leaving his Blackrock Brethren behind and joining a nobler cause under Thrall. After numerous battles, Riggs was not worthy to survive the Scourge at the Battle of Mount Hyjal, and it was here that he fell, under the mounds of heroes who gave up their lives for Azeroth that day.

The next few years saw him busy, living a life of undeath and becoming an acolyte in the Ebon Hold, where he managed to slay his fellow acolytes for a spot to become a Death Knight serving the Lich King. It was the only plausible thing to do for him, to become stronger instead of sulk. Other than that, the Lich King bid him to do his work, and it was by his choice that he wanted to be the best at what he does.

Riggs finally got his break during the assault on Light's Hope Chapel, and it was here that he broke free, once again regaining his will, and all the thoughts of becoming a powerful Blademaster for Thrall and his nation came back to him. It was going back to Durotar that he is to meet his fate.
