Appearance

Reinald wears a protective but stylish armor, with tones of burgundy, red and even trims of gold. Even flooded with all sorts of designs and ornaments.

His casual outfit normally consists of a red formal vest, matching pants, dull brown shoes and a mauve belt.

Other: Reinald wields a fairly large claymore with him which he uses in most of his battles.

Personality

Reinald is at first seen as rash, patriotic and ambitious. He doesn't hesitate to make quick decisions without proper reflection, he is strong with his culture's traditions and he has a strong and stubborn determination in succeeding through his goals. However, Reinald has a chivalric side in his nature, believing in courage, valor and fairness in battle.

He has a tendency in disliking those which come from outside of Stromgarde or Arathi, mostly those coming from Alterac due to the nation's collaboration with the Orcish Horde during the Second War.

Reinald despises anyone who sympathizes with the Horde, be it by seeing a member of the Alliance being friendly to a member of the Horde or by being with the Horde. Reinald views the Forsaken as idols being manipulated by a tyrant, the Sin'Dorei as traitors for abandoning the Alliance, the Orcs as puke-skinned ogres, the Trolls as a worthy yet foul enemy and the Taurens as poor misguided cretins.

Reinald has a soft spot for troubadours and music players of any sort, mostly enjoying the sound of fiddles, harps and castanets.

History

Reinald Flambard was born in the city of Stromgarde and is son of Guy Flambard, a simple soldier in Stromgarde's army. During most of his childhood, Reinald had the desire, like most children, to be just like his father. Reinald's father helped train him in how to use a blade and mainly how to fight. His father's teachings were at times harsh, but the end results rewarding for Reinald. Gradually, Reinald got better and more familiar in both the arts of combat and chivalry that his father often showed and spoke of.

Once word of death and destruction in Stormwind came to Stromgarde, Reinald and his father braced for the worst by knowing they would have to soon face the new threat which had emerged in the south.

Reinald eventually enlisted in the Stromgarde army in age of twenty. During the Second War, his father was sent to defend the Northlands against an orcish invasion in Khaz Modan. Once Lord Perenolde's treachery was discovered by Thoras Trollbane, Reinald and many others from Stromgarde were sent to the unguarded mountains of Alterac to dispatch of the orcs stationed there and guarded it against any reinforcements.

Once the Second War finally ended, Reinald heard that his father was one of the unfortunate casualties in the defense against the orcs in Khaz Modan. Reinald returned to Stromgarde, mourning at the lost of his father but also proud that his father died honorably to protect his nation. Reinald was awarded with the title of knight in his return to Stromgarde.

The years after the Second War were far more relaxing for Reinald than they once were, but that soon changed during the Third War. Stromgarde wasn't necessarily affected by the undead Scourge, but Reinald was sent along with several other men to join the Stromgarde Brigade, a detachment of troops within the Human Expedition led by Jaina Proudmoore to Kalimdor.

After the victory at Mount Hyjal, Reinald and other survivors of the expedition established in Theramore Isle. Reinald frowned upon Jaina's softness and attempt at befriending the Horde enemies. At times he spoke ill of Jaina, calling her a traitor and a lousy swine. This only provoked fights amongst the other residents of Theramore Isle, eventually causing Reinald to pay a few incarcerations and eventually long-term imprisonment deep in Ironclad Prison for the attempted murder of a high elf resident.

Years slowly went by in Reinald's dim cell, he was mostly frustrated by his arrest but swore to leave Theramore and head back to Stromgarde as soon as he gets liberated. He remained several years in isolation deep within Ironclad Prison, ignorant of what went on above.

Sometime in year twenty-nine, Reinald was finally liberated and took no time to set sail to Stromgarde. Once he finally reached the now declined Stromgarde, he was heavily shocked at seeing how the once mighty Kingdom had rapidly degraded throughout a few short span of years. The devastated Reinald felt even more frustrated than when he was imprisoned back in Theramore but decided bare on the title of "Knight" he was given before his absence in the Expedition.

Reinald, unaware of the events which had occurred during his imprisonment in Theramore, knows little of the many surprises Azeroth has to offer. Already incapable of relating himself with the night elves during his time in Kalimdor, he knows nothing of the draenei, the roaming death knights and even the fall of the Lich King.
