Personality

After Reila's traumatic experiences, she finds herself unable to express emotions other than sadness and anger. She is calculating, but not evil. She does not kill in cold blood, she does not plot with evil intent. She is simply a killer and an intelligent mind with no use for it, except to follow her brother.

It could be said, that she has insight to almost every action in the short term, but is completely oblivious to the long term effects. This is why she follows her older brother's commands without question, and is lost without a superior guiding her.

History

Born in Ashenvale, Reila lived a relatively mundane life as a ranger. She had fought in few battles, and was almost always on guard duty. She was a happy individual, with good intentions for everyone. She had a good relationship with the people living and working around her post. There, she received word from her brother, Dahirn, to travel to Stormwind. Believing this was an emergency, Reila resigned from her guard position and took her bow and daggers before making her way to Stormwind.

However, all went wrong for Reila when she made this decision. On the road to Stormwind, she came across a large group of bandits alone. To defend herself, she attempted to shoot them with her bow from a long distance. She picked one off, and started reloading her bow again. Her nerves got the best of her, and they closed the gap much quicker than predicted. She was immediately captured, mugged, gang-raped, beaten then left for dead somewhere outside Darkshire. A day or two afterwards, Dahirn finds her and nurses her back to health.

Traumatized and damaged, Reila became a quiet, husk of a woman. She refused to speak to anyone else except her brother. She eventually explained to Dahirn that she died because she was unable to stop them rushing at her. She vowed never to lift another bow and arrow, because she believed that they were useless. She also became frighteningly distant to all men except Dahirn. Filled with both rage and sadness, Reila had energy and talent that was being used up. Dahirn saw this, and decided to teach her the use of guns and engineering. He taught her how technology can be used to defeat enemies. With nothing left to fight for, she has decided to join her brother.
