Appearance

Simple yet elegant robes, usually red in colour. He very rarely carries an actual weapon with him if he is not expecting a combat situation. When expecting battle or wishing to really impress someone he wears a set of extremely elegant reddish robes and carries with him a black staff.

Other: Despite his abuse of his little imp the small creature follows him around everywhere he goes. Unless forced into combat Raneth never chooses another pet as his companion. This may indicate that Raneth is rather fond of his mischievous little friend, however much he denies it.

Personality

Raneth has a knack for flattering almost every female Sin'dorei he meets, leading which can lead to some interesting situations. Raneth also is very keen on avoiding battles and won't fight unless there simply is no other option, he prefers to be able to talk his way out of things but when forced to he can get quite violent, replacing his imp with more threatening creatures and raining hell down on his opponent. Raneth does not fight fair in battles and will always seek the quickest way to crush whoever challenged him, which, together with his selected minions tends to be fairly easy.

History

Raneth was born in Silvermoon as with most High Elves. He came from a lesser noble house but kept away from politics for a while, instead choosing to focus on his arcane studies. Eventually he realized that he was not for the arcane, but instead started developing a taste for demonic summoning and such. He found a warlock to train under and began the long road to master the fel energies at his command.

During that time he started developing an interest in politics and his mother counseled him in the ways of the magistrate and the ruling houses of Silvermoon, he learned the use of subtlety when in political situations and thus from then on vary rarely would you see Raneth in extremely fancy robes or with anything other than his faithful imp Fornbek at his side. He chose to appear simpler over threatening as his mother instructed.

When it came time for Kael'thas to make his move and leave his people behind Raneth's family chose to follow him, although Raneth held a great respect for Kael'thas he chose not to follow the prince and remain in Silvermoon, thus he became the only member of his house after the death of his family during the many battles in Outlands. Since then Raneth has realigned himself with the Baroness Elvi'anei, still choosing subtle movements over brute tactics. He doesn't seem to care all too much about gaining political power, instead he is content to sit behind the Baroness and quietly work his magic.
