Appearance

Randy is almost always wearing his oil-stained standard issue jumpsuit. He carries a wrench at his side at all times.

Personality

Randy is distant at times, usually lost in his thoughts about gears and sprockets. But when you do have his attention, he is a great listener and loves to solve other people's problems with his out-of-necessity inventions. Randy is a passive but passionate person, and will more likely stand behind the crowd mobbing someone, then is in the mob. Randy is also quite adventurous, and loves to explore places he hasn't been before. His language sometimes get a little out of hand, especially when he's fixing or inventing something. Also due to the way he was brought up, he actually holds a slight respect for Gnomes. Their intelligence and machinery prowess is usually unmatched, but he was here to outdo them.

History

Randy grew up in Elwynn Forest with his lumberjack father and his baker mother. By the time he was six Randy was brave enough to travel around the forest alone. Although he never went far into the forest, he did still like it. That same year his father took him to Stormwind for the first time, and he was amazed with its grandeur. But what really amazed him was the gnomes he met there. They rode on strange mechanical creatures. His father left him in the Inn while he went about the city on his business.

Randy took full advantage of this and went exploring the city and meeting the strange inhabitants. By the time his father found him, he was about to get on the Deeprun Tram. Unfortunately for him, his father didn't take him to Stormwind anymore for a long time.

By the age of eleven Randy was already quite the engineer. Making simple inventions from the simple materials he could acquire. An automated tree chopper to name one, that didn't go over to well and he almost killed his father. Even after though, his father supported him as he grew up. He had always hoped that Randy would become something more than a Lumberjack.

When he was sixteen, his small family was struck with tragedy when his father was killed in a logging related accident. Seems his sleeve was caught on a tree that forced his arm into the saw they used. The rest was a gory mess that they didn't tell him about. But, Randy took it well enough, taking a job with some mechanics as an apprentice to keep his mind off of his father. It was with this group of engineers that Randy learned most of the things he knew about machines.

A few months ago, Randy heard a rumor about a company of pilots and that they'd need mechanics to fix the planes. He traveled to Ironforge and meet with them, getting hired on as a Greaser. He knew he'd prove himself to them eventually and earn himself a better Mechanic position. Even though he wasn't sure he'd like some of the gnomes he met within the company, he was still fascinated with their intelligence and stature.
