Personality

Alignment: Lawful Good

Raenna is rather outspoken and sometimes argumentative, prone to acting before putting very much thought into what she wants to get done or acting for the sake of others as if she knew what was best for them. She's not unnecessarily rude, or rude at all in her mind, she simply gets frustrated easily with people who sit around complaining about this or that and don't -do- anything about it. Her demeanor is unflinching, and good luck trying to get her to admit she's wrong. If she feels she is right in her heart, there'll be no changing her mind.

Despite her military training and experience in war, she doesn't have a hard time showing emotion at all. Or at least, she doesn't have a hard time showing -positive- emotion: love, happiness, excitement, anger, etc. Anything else, such as fear or despair, she perceives as weakness and reminds her of her past transgressions when her people's need was dire.

History

Like a good number of Draenei, Raenna was born on some planet that no one really cares about or bothered to remember. She was orphaned during her youth, her parents no doubt slain at the hands of the Legion, but was brought up rather well as all Draenei orphans are. Throughout her youth she looked up to the other warriors and paladins of her race and dreamed of growing up to be as powerful as they were, with other young Draenei looking up to her with pride and seeing her as a person to model their own lives after. As such, she chose the path of the paladin, wanting to perfect the art of combat in all its aspects, become proficient in a variety of weaponry, particularly the greatest weapon of all against the Legion, and develop a familiarity with combat tactics to suit a given situation ( although she possessed little patience to devise anything very elaborate ).

In her mind there was no real purpose to getting friendly with the Orcs of Draenor, mostly because she figured they'd be leaving this planet shortly after arriving anyway. So she kept to her own kind as the majority of the Draenei did, and stayed in Shattrath where she continued to train.

During the Orcish assault on Shattrath, she was chosen to stay behind to give her people a chance, and she accepted this assignment and what she believed would be her fate with a sense of pride and honor. Now was her chance to demonstrate her valor and sacrifice herself for her kin just like so many millions had before her, and so she made her final prayers as the Orcs marched closer from the horizon, then stood with her claymore raised and met them in combat. After what felt like an eternity of battle, the dust settled, and Raenna found herself under the care of the Aldor among the ruins of the once great city. So many of her brothers and sisters slain, a deep sense of guilt befell her. Why had she survived? She felt herself a coward, for the only explanation for her surviving the battle was that she hadn't done as much as she could've. She helped in the reconstruction efforts of the ruined city alongside the Aldor where she now stays, her life fueled by little else than vengeance against those who trespass against her race in the hopes that those who gave their lives for her in her moment of cowardice would find it in their hearts to forgive her.
