Appearance

The most defining feature about Quetzalo is his height. Barely reaching 6'8, he would be what most would call a runt of a troll. Yet for all his height deficiencies, he is a well-built troll with average/below average muscles and bluish green skin. He lacks his right eye, and has since then covered it with a blood red eye patch, and complimenting this rogue-esque appearance is a face painted as a skull. Being a Runemaster, he wears very little, and is coated in equally deep red runes that glow a fiery orange when activated. To keep from kicking arse in the nude, however, he does have a pair of dirt coated, ripped pants, dark with red tracings.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Quetzalo is the kind of hotheaded, fight picking, belligerent Troll racists would expect from his kind. He is slow to make friends, due to his nature, and will more than likely do as he damn well pleases rather than take orders, less so if they're complex orders. Those surely aren't worth his time. His most noticeable quality is his self-consciousness about his height, being very small for a troll. He will constantly insist that someone is “saying something about his height” and proceed to either be severely peeved at them or attack. He is obsessed with people seeing him as worthy and able, doing everything in his power to appear manly, which led to his skull face painting. Look at him! He's scary!

History

Quetzalo was born to the same family Jezzan was born to, except they had high hopes for Jezzan. Quetzalo was widely considered to be the runt of an otherwise pure batch of breedlings. It is for this reason that he was given little special treatment or forgiveness in his youth. To be fair, nobody did, but him especially. Whilst others were brought up to be “mans” of importance, he was shunted to jobs women and the weakest men would ordinarily do, such as cooking and, at best, fishing.

Needless to say, he was infuriated.

However, he couldn't very well leave, as they'd catch him and bring him back every time he tried. It is at this time he first began working on his speed, in a quite manly way, in fact. He would go to rather dangerous places filled with dangerous creatures/people and taunt them. Yes, taunt them, and then when they would come running he'd run away. Getting away signified he was getting better, for being caught meant being injured, and then he would invent elaborate excuses for his elders as to how his injuries occurred. Luckily Jezzan isn't the only dull member of the family.

Finally, it was time to escape again, and since he could finally outrun them, he struck out for the secluded jungles of Strangethorn (making a makeshift raft out of trees and some cloth) and…! And nothing. He didn't get that far yet. You probably assumed he wasn't a very good planner, judging from his past antics with the running. It was now far worse than simply running away. He had to survive in a jungle where most of everything wanted to eat him and use his rib cage for a hat to show to the folks. This was where, after some time of the usual training regiment, he met a Runemaster, an Orc training with a group of naga nice enough to volunteer, who not only beat things to a pulp on a regular basis, he did it with his bare hands. Well, he didn't use a weapon. Whether he used ONLY his hands is debatable. Anyways, this to Quetzalo seemed the ultimate achievement of man-itude.

So what does a fast-on-his-feet Troll do? Follow the Runemaster about obsessively, of course. Eventually, since he couldn't beat him up, (He tried, but he wasn't a quick Runemaster, and Quetzalo is rather quick,) he agreed to show him the tricks of the trade, if he got to land a good punch on him. Quetzalo agreed, but only AFTER the training was complete. Finally, after much toss and toil, and a great deal of tattooing, he became a halfway successful offensive Runemaster and dubbed himself, going by his family traditions, the “'Tooman.”

WHAM! He's a Troll of his word. Sometimes. And that is the shenanigan filled life of Quetzalo… so far.
