Appearance

She almost always wears ornate and beautifully crafted robes. On very rare occasions when she's out doing field studies, she'll wear something more practical, such as pants and a shirt. In chillier climates or nights when she is out studying stars, she will usually wear woolen or silk scarves.

Other: Quel is chubby. Not -overly- chubby, but she does have meat on her bones. She's also usually seen lugging around a bag full of astronomical devices and charts.

Personality

Queloria has the personality of a piece of wood, to put it bluntly. To her everything, EVERYTHING, can be analyzed. She nearly has no raw and heartfelt emotions at all, at least not in public, and her actions and mannerisms can come off as austere and frigid. On the flip-side, the Sin'dorei does have her weaknesses, her skeletons. If these are brought out, there is a good chance that she will become faint-hearted. In short, Queloria is like a cadbury egg: a hardened shell around a softened core.

History

Queloria Flamefeather had a relatively typical childhood for her kind. She had a twin sister for several years, but said sister was frail from birth, and eventually passed away due to health complications. As a result, Queloria's mother and father treated their now only daughter as if she were all they had in the world. When the Elf was old enough to pursue studies of her own, her mother took her to see an old friend, a man she calls "Endymion." The High Elf was an astronomer, a sorcerer and, as Queloria soon came to find, her prospective mentor. The young Quel'dorei was soon immersed in the world of magic, of intellect. She was incredibly apt in learning the constellations and the galaxies, and little by little Endymion and Queloria's bond grew stronger, until the two were nigh inseparable. Wherever the sorcerer went, Quel would follow, skittering behind with her scrolls and books full of notes and charts.

Queloria was taught the ways of astronomy, of the arcane and she and Endymion constantly engaged in long bouts of philosophy. She would be lying if she said she wasn't smitten with the man, respecting and loving him as a friend and father figure, as well as her teacher.

When the Third War came about, Endymion was called away to aid against the Scourge invasion. Queloria and her parents survived, but their home, and their way of life, were crushed in the aftermath. Queloria had done her best to scavenge the remains of Endymion's observatory, salvaging scrolls and tools and anything else that was still intact. When no sign of the man's survival was found, Queloria fell into a deep isolation. When she wasn't spending what little time with her parents that she did, she was studying, honing her skills. The guiding of her people beneath Kael'thas' hand was a catalyst in her addiction to magic, to power. When the Sin'dorei began to rebuild and reclaim their way of life, the woman had become a hardened, cold and calculating magus.

Her studies having come to a point, she now finds herself constantly traveling, seeing how far she can intermingle her astronomical studies into her studies of the arcane. One may find her on a hilltop on a cold night, gaze skyward, seeking out the stars and what lies beyond them.
