History

Qaz'atai was born to the two Darkspear mates, Jil'kamon, his father, and El'naka, his mother. His childhood was quite simple, living in relative peace amongst the Darkspear villagers on their little island chain in the middle of the sea. One day, Qaz'atai met a troll woman by the name of Zek'ai; evidently, he ended up saving her from a thunder lizard, suffering horrible wounds himself. Thanks to his troll regeneration, he recovered within months, and he and Zek'ai soon became mates. They had a daughter, Keh'amon, and two years later, they had another, Tel'bina.

One fabled night, the horn was blown all across the village. The murlocs were coming to attack for sacrifices to their recently discovered sea witch 'God'! He grabbed the axe his father had handmade for him and attached fastenings to a piece of some strong bark as a makeshift shield. After a long battle, the murlocs were driven away from Qaz'atai's village, but not without casualties and captives. Zek'ai has been captured, and Qaz's mother and father were slain! He then vowed to avenge their deaths and free Zek'ai.

Luckily for Qaz'atai, Thrall and his Horde arrived soon after these events, and Qaz'atai took the opportunity to take up axe and shield in battle. He first joined Thrall and Sen'jin's forces as they marched on the Kul Tiras encampment on an island nearby. After the battle was over, the un-thinkable happened--the murlocs rampaged across the battlefield and took all of the survivors captive. It was in the underground caverns wherein Qaz'atai was freed by the Orcs as they were too strong to be held in the meek cages of the Murlocs. After the long and hard fight to escape, Qaz finally saved Zek'ai from her cage, only to find that in the very next room, Sen'jin himself was slain!

A roar of trollish fury came from Qaz'atai and his Darkspear brethren as they charged against and slew the murlocs who would dare slay their glorious leader! After said battle against the Murlocs, they escaped to find their homeland in flames! Qaz'atai was just in time to save his two daughters before even his home met the island's wrath! Zek'ai and Qaz's two daughters held behind the Horde lines as Qaz aided in the defense of the ships rebuilding site. A long battle occurred, with many being slain, murloc, orc, and troll alike! The Orcs finally finished the rebuilding of their ships, and it was then that Qaz, his mate, his daughters, and the Darkspear Tribe joined the Horde on their sail to Kalimdor.

It was a rough landing on the shores of what would someday be Durotar, that was for sure, but Qaz'atai quickly found himself aiding the Orcs in their newest struggle, that of survival against the wilds of Kalimdor! They soon discovered the Tauren, a peaceful people, native to the fields of this continent. Qaz'atai and his family soon befriended one of them specifically, an elder by the name of Molmon. The Horde and Tauren traveled to the village of the Tauren to find it just about to be attacked by the vicious Centaur! They defended in a fierce battle, which claimed the life of Qaz's newest friend, Molmon, among other casualties. He and his family mourned, but they were not alone. Molmon's son, Reltan, met with them, spoke of his father, and they soon found a new friend in this kind Tauren.

The struggle continued as the Horde faced the challenges of many a Human and Wildlife! After a long struggle, Qaz found himself caged by his former orcish commander... These orcs had drunk the blood of Mannoroth, and were not themselves! After remaining caged with his mate and daughters for days, they were freed when the New Horde returned, and banished these foul Orcs of fel from the land! Shortly afterwards, survival was a battle in and of itself as Qaz ran from checkpoint to checkpoint, the Burning Legion and Night Elves ambushing them at every opportunity! The very forest they were in was a battlefield! After days, if not weeks, of surviving against the Burning Legion, Qaz found himself among the Horde fighters on Mount Hyjal itself!

Qaz fought alongside old friends as Reltan stood, totemic mace in hand, at the lines of the Horde. They watched as the human stronghold slowly went into flames, and the Legion charged up the slope to meet the Horde defenses! A long defense was held, but in the end, the Horde was ordered to retreat into the forests! Qaz and Reltan watched from their grounds of respite as the Night Elven stronghold fell as well. After a while of watching and waiting, a large flash and explosion came from the top of the mountain, where Nordrassil itself resided! Archimonde was destroyed, and the combined forces cheered in victory as they finished off the remaining Legionnaires. Much celebration occurred as Orgrimmar, City of the Horde, was built in the new land of Durotar. Qaz and Zek'ai finally were able to live in peace among their Darkspear brethren in the Echo Isles, if only for a while.

Word came of Rexxar, a Mok'Nathal warrior that fought for the Horde during desperate times... Word also came of a human armada, that of Kul Tiras, encroaching on the Echo Isles... Qaz and Zek'ai frantically aided in fighting off the humans that came, defending their daughters, as they made for the mainland! In the new establishment of Sen'jin Village, Qaz'atai told his mate and daughters to remain in the Village, at any cost. He prepared to aid the Horde once more in its struggle against old enemies, as the battle for Tidefury Cove commenced! After battling alongside his old friend, Reltan, the Horde sailed for Theramore Isle, and the battle that occurred was long, and full of casualties. Qaz'atai himself suffered bad wounds, and he was not alone, as Reltan was injured to the point he could not carry on in the battle! Soon, the cry of victory spread across the city, the Horde had successfully slain Admiral Proudmoore.

Qaz'atai returned to his mate in Sen'jin Village, and they rejoiced, the war was finally over, and peace was finally restored. However, peace did not take away the costly expenses of living in such circumstances, and Qaz'atai picked up his father's axe and his old bark shield one last time, and became a freelancing mercenary. Qaz'atai was now a mercenary, traveling the world in search of jobs to muster up enough gold so that his family could survive another month back in Durotar. He keeps barely any of his earnings, only enough to survive. All the rest goes to Zek'ai and his daughters in Durotar.
