Appearance: Poyvida is of average height and build for a caster. She has stark white skin and bright blue hair. Her facial features are round and often defined by simple makeup such as eyeliner and lipstick. She does not wear rouge or anything garish.

Usual Garments/Armor: Not much of a fashionista, Vida does not tend to stray far from Draenic style dresses. However, she wears bangles of gold jewelry and the occasional pendant or brooch. When she is working she is in a snug uniform that clashes with her natural coloring.

Personality

Vida has a kind heart and an easy going temperament. She enjoys traveling and making new friends as well as helping people. When aid is requested she is typically one of the first adventurers to volunteer. This drive has lead her all over the world of Azeroth, Outland and Northrend.

Due to her inability to speak common as fluently as others some get the impression that she walks around in a cloud of naivete'. They are mistaken. She is cunning, intelligent and cultured. If given the opportunity to speak in Draenei or Orcish this becomes more apparent. Some of her well studied interests include art, magic, and jewel crafting.

Magic has become more than a past-time for her and if given a worldly title it is most often that of mage or spell caster. Her artistic medium of choice is usually paint and after exposure to humans, makeup. She loves using color to create a mood be it on canvas or face. It is rare these days that she will design jewelry, but interesting pieces on others or for sell can catch her eye and hold her interest.

Her faith is most assuredly in the Light, but in recent months her piety has waned. There was time she dedicated a portion of every day to a devotional in the Light, but that has stopped. Since entering Northrend and visiting Dalaran, she has focused the majority of her attention on her arcane studies and her desire to learn more about fire spells.

History

Poyvida was born on Draenor to a pair of geologists that owned a prominent jewelry shop in Shattrath City. Before the draenei settled in Outland, her parents were among the scientists that tested living conditions on planets before the draenei settled them. In doing so they were exposed to new and unique gemstones that they kept for research. When it became clear that Draenor would remain their home they furthered their rock collecting hobby and delved into jewelry making. By the time Poyvida was born her parents had dedicated the bulk of their time to this business and encouraged their daughter to take an interest in becoming a jeweler as well. However, she was interested in art and magic; she attended the mage's academy, studied the tenets of Light and in her free time learned how to paint.

When the fel corrupted orcs attacked the City of Light both of her parents were killed and she, along with her intended, fled to Zangarmarsh. In route to their swampy safe-haven, her beloved went missing and it is believed he was killed. Grief-stricken she remained with the refugees in Zangarmarsh until they were rescued by the great Exodar escape plan. She fought in the battle for the Exodar using her spell mastery over the arcane and for the first time in her life she was space bound. However, the blood elves' sabotage made it a short trip. They crashed on Azeroth and while grieving for her parents she assisted her people in any way she could. After the Exodar was turned into the new Draenei capital she accompanied a party of paladins and priests returning to Outland with the races of the Alliance.

In Outland she focused on helping clean up Shattrath City and returning it to the hospitable beacon of Light it had once been. She found her parent's shop completely destroyed, but in the rubble she managed to find some pieces of jewelry that they had created together. She saved what she could and then returned her attention to the campaign against the Legion. For her part, she stuck mostly to Terokkar Forest and Netherstorm.

When Arthas' forces returned, she followed her friends to Northrend. There she witnessed old enemies become allies and in some instances sought to forgive them. She also began to embrace frost spells, which eventually led to her curiosity about fire. Rumors of the magnificence of Dalaran led her there in the wake of the Lich King's defeat. While many of her kind returned to Draenor she chose to stay and study in the magical city. In order to afford room and board she took a job at the Sable Dragon Inn and that is where she is today.
