History

Parth was born in the city of Lordaeron to his parents, Arthur and Kimberly Vargon. Arthur departed from the family to join the army of Lordaeron when Parth was young, giving him little no memories of him. His mother didn't care for him too much, not teaching him how to read, write, or any other very essential academics that he would find useful in his life. Parth instead gained his comfort from his childhood friend Lilah, who had loving parents who more or less treated Parth like their own blood. They often told him many stories about heroes and villains, and the glory of being an adventurer. The stories had always fascinated Parth, and made him often talk about how one day he'd be an adventurer too. He was often with them more than his own mother, who was perfectly happy with the arrangement. When Parth was 8, Lilah's parents confronted Parth's mother about her lacking in maternal instincts, and the confrontation ended with Parth being adopted into Lilah's family, but keeping his last name for his father's sake.

When the Scourge invasion of Lordaeron began, Parth and Lilah were pre-teens, and the family fled south to Hillsbrad, where they had a relative who could give them shelter from the elements while they pieced their lives back together. Kimberly Vargon was not heard from again, and is presumed to have perished in the attack on the city. Parth, stricken with wanderlust thanks to the stories he heard of his childhood, set out at the age of 18 for the town of Goldshire in the South, travelling along with a caravan that was headed there. While travelling, the caravan was, naturally, attacked by orcs as they neared the end of the road of the Burning Steppes. Parth and four others were the only ones to survive. Parth armed himself with the sword of a fallen caravan guard and continued South with the others.

While in Goldshire, Parth found himself penniless, often being forced to steal what food he needed and what money he required to survive. Deciding that he wasn't the most stealthy of men, he began to offer his sword in service, despite his inexperience. For a few months he served as a bodyguard to a paranoid man staying at the Inn, who didn't offer much combat experience due to the fact that nobody was actually after him. Parth quit after the fourth month of getting no action, and wandered to Stormwind to find work instead. While in Stormwind, he met a mage known as Gyram Greyfrost, also known as The Crow. Under the careful instruction of his new mentor, Parth learned the ways of the mage, slowly working his way up from a lowly novice to an apprentice, before finally becoming a magician worthy of the title. Over time, however, he had began hearing rumors of practitioners of a forbidden art known as Necromancy. So, in his eternal quest for fame and fortune, Parth decided that he didn't have much luck with the whole fame bit, so maybe notoriety would serve him better and started on a quest to become a necromancer.

Skills and Abilities

Parth will be losing his mage powers as he becomes more and more corrupted, and will be gaining Necromancer powers in their place. However, at the time of this being written, Parth has no Necromancer abilities besides raising a single mindless zombie under nobody's control. It doesn't do anything, either.
