Rise of the Horde - Blackhand is made Warchief and the Shadow Council is formed. The Orcs begin their slaughter of the Draenei. The Temple of Karabor is conquered and becomes the Black Temple, a headquarters for the Shadow Council.

• 31 years ago

Orc chieftains of the Horde drink the blood of Mannoroth. With that, the Orcs sack Shattrath.

• 30 years ago

Invasion of Azeroth/First War - First contact with Azeroth and beginning of the First War. The very first Orcs set foot in Azeroth and, in a blood rage, begin to wage war with the Humans for their land. This war ends with them being victorious and gaining the south of the Eastern Kingdoms for themselves.

Defeat of the Orcs - After the Second War, the Orcs are defeated at the hands of the Alliance. All but the Frostwolf and Warsong clans are taken into internment camps around the Eastern Kingdoms. Here they suffer from lethargy from lack of blood lust. Orcs this age or younger would have been born in the internment camps.

Escape to Kalimdor - With the Orcs freed from the internment camps by Thrall, the new Warchief, they escape to the land of Kalimdor, finding the Darkspear Trolls along the way and saving them from the Murlocs and bringing them with them to the land of Kalimdor.

Third War - The Horde travels west after Medivh warns them. They found Orgrimmar and participate in the third war. The Burning Legion enter the world, led by Archimonde, and assault the World Tree, Nordrassil. The Horde, led by Thrall, do their best to help keep the Legion away from the Tree and successfully assist the Alliance into holding off the Legion for long enough. Characters who are older than 20 years old will remember the journey across the sea. Characters older than 30 would have been adults at this time, and can have fought in the Third War. Note that only characters younger than 10 years old could have been born in Kalimdor.

Note: There were no Orcs in Azeroth before 30 years ago.
