Her style of dress can range from highly feminine to outright cross-dressing depending on the situation. She has a large traditional tattoo on her back given to her as a gift when she came of age. It's a stylized motif of a spider among oleander flowers.

Personality

Alignment (if applicable): Currently chaotic neutral

Kanrie is ambitious, determined, persistent, cunning, clever, but profanely apologetic. She's all too used to staying into some kind of trouble or debt with someone. To maintain her own Kaldorei honor, pursue her own ambitions to become a tinker, and finding she has to compromise for her hard-set ways gives her much anxiety in life. She's always coming up with stupid ideas to make money just to buy more components.

History

Kanrie was one of eight girls to a family of Night Elves in Feralas who later migrated to Ashenvale. Many of the sisters enlisted as Sentinels, fully utilizing the athleticism, cunning, and strength that ran through their bloodline. But, three of the sisters opted out of this kind of career path. The two older ones operated as thieves and troublemakers, often using their highly reluctant younger sister, Kanrie, as either an alibi or as someone to rig up traps or disguises for them. She was good for that sort of thing.

The three operated in secrecy. However, the resourceful Sentinels eventually discovered the identity of their troublemakers. After serving out their sentence, they returned to their families completely shamed. The tension in the clan too was too thick after the incident, so they agreed it would be best to leave the community until things blew over. For, say, 100 years? 200? …300?

The three youngest Adelfaes trekked out to the south, crossing through their old home of Feralas, and eventually to the swamps and on to Theramore. Not really having learned their lesson, the two elder sisters found the humans easier to toy with than their kin, and eventually made enough fare to get to Stormwind.

It was here, Kanrie took interest in the strange gadgetry that seemed to be of use all over the place, especially with the shorter races. She abhorred how dirty some of it could be, but found these more sophisticated devices better than what the goblins were trying to peddle when they sailed into Theramore. Her sisters tried to talk her out of taking interest in these extreme arts; they didn't want her to ruin her reputation at home even further, despite the fact they were developing a reputation for themselves in the East. They knew they failed when she came home with a few books on the topic and a stolen gnome toolbox.

At this point in time, the sisters have split ways; one decided to return home and redeem herself in hopes to someday enlist as a Sentinel; the other is in Northrend and decided to join the crusade against the Lich King, opting to remain in the cold North. Oleander decided to migrate along the neutral towns of the Goblins to freely study her craft, and find efficient ways to create environmentally friendly (and profitable) technology.

Current

Oleander was working in a tower in Azshara, and lived in Mimiron. She now wanders around the world, actively seeking something she won't disclose.
