Alignment: Chaotic Good. He has a strong sense of justice, but prefers to deal it out himself. He knows his rights from his wrongs. He tends to mock those more evilly aligned.

Appearance

Oddiroto tends to wear lots of black and grey leather, as well as a mask or his casual purple glasses. He also keeps a lot of Charms and Trinkets on his body, and when not in armor, is usually in some kind of ritualistic body wrap.

Other: Oddiroto is incredibly superstitious, particularly about Draenei. There are certain dates you can't fight on, certain rituals that must be done at night, etc. He carries around two daggers where ever he travels. His face is covered in ceremonial paints and symbols, as well as a “J” forcefully scarred on his left cheek. The bones in his right arm have been replaced with metal pivots and winches (Courtesy of an Apocathery), which causes him some pain when he uses it. Time has whittled away at his Trollish accent, but it still shows while he talks. He also likes to collect books, and can't drink Ale or Rum, because of an allergy to honey.

Personality

Oddiroto tries to be very social, but prefers to reflect in solitude for most of the time. His trust in people is very strong, as well as his tendency to call people on their ignorance, mostly because he considers himself an intellectual (This on occasion can get out of hand for others). He tries not to get into any fighting, but enjoys a good fight now and then, particularly at the Arenas. He tries to be as diplomatic as possible, but when called on something, like his past, or can no longer stand the insults against his race/culture/family/etc, he might grow very furious. He enjoys a good joke, although he can pass off as annoying and obnoxious some times, and he tries not to ever let people down. He might also break into tears when asked too much about his past, and will try to recover from it as quickly as possible and reprimands himself mentally whenever he flirts (Because of his past as well). He tends to lie about his past as well. He claims he only does more shady things and dealings for survival.

History

Oddiroto was born between two difficult periods of Darkspear history: Just after the invasion of the Echo Isles by Daelin Proudmoore, and before the brainwashing by Zalazane of his people. He grew up near Sen'jin Village, along with his father, Reniroto, and his brother, Kojito. Their family had always been considered somewhat more eccentric than most others, and they always had to stay at a fair distance from the village. Oddiroto's mother was one of the unfortunates that was killed by Zalazane's followers, leaving Reniroto to take care of his children, of which he didn't have much experience with, other than training them in combat. Reniroto wasn't especially fond of Oddiroto, mostly because of Odd's ability to cause trouble where ever he went. His father instead, cared more for Kojito, who wanted to learn the ways of the warrior. Oddiroto in his youth lacked a good amount of concentration and physical ability, so he spent most of his time sneaking about, or wandering the beaches in search for shiny objects and oddities. This grew into one of his biggest pasttimes.

As Odd and his brother grew older, his father became increasingly insane and often at times ill, which would consume a decent amount of the brother's time. They attended to him, even in his violent outbursts of mad rage. Years of this certainly took a toll of Oddiroto, particulary one incident when he was alone with his father, and was slashed at, Reniroto mistaking him for an old enemy. Eventually, his father died, old and insane, by his two sons. He never truly made peace with Oddiroto, but Odd forgave him.

After their father's death, the brothers went their seperate ways. Kojito joined a mercenary company, while Oddiroto was picked up by Goblin Engineers. Oddiroto always had a fascination with explosives, as well as time consuming, tedious activity, and made an excellent fireworks maker. He eventually left the Goblins, and settled in Ratchet. It was here he met a female troll named Alekei. Immediately they struck a cord together, and they soon fell in love. Oddiroto loved her with every fiber in his being, and would often give her gifts of shark teeth necklaces, or collections of sea shells (Alekei had a very strong affinity to the sea). Odd married her only after a few months, and Alekei was an expectant mother soon after. It was only a few weeks after hearing such news that the still naive troll had his heart torn out (Metaphorically, read on before thinking I'm insane).

Yes, for Oddiroto and Alekei soon went along the Barrens roads to visit the green fields of Mulgore, and settle there for peace and quiet that they thought they'd need as a family. It was this trip that would completely destroy Odd's world. Before reaching the Crossroads, a somewhat frenzied Kojito jumped them, along with his fellow mercenaries. For Alekei had come originally to Ratchet to escape a bounty placed on her by her father. Oddiroto tried as hard as he could to talk Kojito out of it, but was thrown back to watch his wife be slaughtered and shredded by the group. They had killed the one person in Azeroth that Oddiroto had ever truly loved, and his only child. This drove him over the edge, and in an insane fury, he slammed one of the mercenaries, took his sword, and killed Kojito. This was the first blood and the first sword Oddiroto had ever taken. He cut down a few others of the group, before they ran for the north. He was left, standing, to drop on his knees and carry away his love's body, to the Crossroads Settlement. He organised funeral arrangements to be held in Mulgore, where she would now become one with their dream: A Lasting Peace. He still holds onto Alekei's seashell comb, the one memento of their time together he could bare to keep.

After this, Oddiroto returned to Ratchet, still in disbelief of what had transpired. He tried to kill himself on several occasions, taking alcohol to flare up his allergies to honey. He never succeeded in this venture, so spent a majority of his days on the streets, in mourning, and where the locals didn't have much care for him now. It was after a few days without food or clean water that he had an epiphany (Most likely induced by dehydration). This was not what Alekei would of wanted, he thought, he would straighten up, and become a better person. He took this to heart, cleaned himself up, started work with the local Goblin engineers. He also took time to study the world, and he gave up a lot of his hatreds and learned to be attentive. He also practiced at the Arena, not to fight, but to attune his physical body to his newly found spirit and knowledge. He did on occasion, fight in matches, and sometimes even deathmatches, but he would always become severly depressed afterwards. In this period of time, he also became very spiritual, relying more and more on fate and omens as the days progressed (His family never really relied much on spirits, his father saying the family had been 'abandoned' by them long ago).

As time passed, and this practice became somewhat tedious, he caught a thirst for adventure. He went through Stonetalon (Where he joined the Far Wolves), and Desolace, fighting creatures and selling off their meats and hides. He also performed various tasks for some of the locals, fighting harpies and the like, which earned him a small amount of reputation with the locals of Ratchet. On his trips back home to Ratchet, he would go south and fight pirates, or travel to a nearby oasis and slay some Centaurs. Life seemed fairly good for him at this point.

Soon, his proximity to Ratchet nearly killed him. He ran into a group of mercenaries at one point, and out of curiosity watched from afar their activities. He followed them unseen for a time, but was discovered and declared a spy. He was tortured for several hours, having his arm broken, some of his ribcage shattered and his knee damaged. On his face was carved the letter "J" by one of his torturers, and his body burnt with coals, stopping his wounds from being able to heal. He eventually was released before anything worse was done, and he returned home to Ratchet, wounded and in desperate need of medical attention. By chance, he stumbled upon an Undead Apocathery, who took him in and treated his wounds. The apocathery treated most of his burns, but had to replace some of his bones (Arms, Knee and Ribs) with metal. The apocathery, to the shock of Oddiroto, was assisted by none other than one of his torturers. He kept quiet however, somewhat fearing for his life. He healed over the months, and came out feeling a lot stronger.

Now we reach the present, and everyday Odd will be challenged, whether in small, social settings, or in big, monster slaying adventures. Well, he should be anyway.
