Personality

Nyell is rather soft spoken under normal circumstances. Unless taking great issue with a matter at hand, she'll often sit back and merely offer smaller points rather than taking the spotlight upon herself. This is not always the case, as in rare occasions when she places immense value on a specific outcome, she will become quite vocal for her beliefs.

She places a great deal of value in the teachings of the Light and the morals that come from it, and holds herself sternly to a code of honor based around (though not specifically in) these tenants.

Nyell has a particular dislike (or rather discomfort) with Mages and Arcanists, not only due to the corruptive nature of Arcane, but also on a basic, personal level. She sees them as rendering her inferior, thus spurring her martial tenancies.

History

Nyell was born mid-flight from Argus, to a pair of loving parents of varying caste (A Vindicator and a merchant), and quickly acclimated to the frequent changes with each stop of Oshu'gun on the varying worlds they attempted to find refuge upon. As a girl she was loved, but as she grew the Exiled One could not easily find her niche.

She toyed with Engineering to an extent in some early years of her life, but that never sincerely panned out in a meaningful way. She attempted various crafts, and even sought a place as a Priestess for a time, but she lacked the proper mindset for a capable Priestess and thus was unable to do much with the Light beyond her peoples' Gift of the Naaru.

Eventually the woman found her niche in martial training, honing her body in place of her spiritual self. She became adept with the sword, and when she felt competent in that she moved to the hammer, then the axe. She took a place among the guard and for a time she was content. Not, perhaps, happy, but at least content.

On Draenor, she settled into a home in Terokkar, in a small village on the edge of the forest, and took her place in the guard happily. She had a life, finally.

It was sheer luck that gave them warning when their small village was in the path of an Orcish Raiding party during the war, and luck still that got them (the thirty-some villagers from this miniscule settlement) to Telredor without any casualties. Still Nyell was shaken.

At Telredor, she traded goods and services as best she could. She could hunt. Life went on even as the world died and tore itself to shreds.

When the flight finally happened, when her people took the Exodar, she was there, but her spark was gone. She would slay many a Sin'dorei that day, and go on to slay Undead in Northrend and Demons at the Sunwell, but she'd lost her place.

This Draenei had finally found her place in life, and then it was gone. To this day she is lost, wandering in search of a new home on this strange world of Humans and Elves and Orcs and all manner of things she (to this day) barely understands.
