Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

Nirana is sometimes seen as the other side of the coin her sister belongs to. She's talkative, outgoing, confident (sometimes a bit too much). She's more than willing to help when truly needed, as her paladin and personal code demands her to do so, but may fail on judgement once the topic is her sister. She's overprotective of Sathia and has great care for her, and perhaps a bit of envy since her sister had a fairly greater share of love from her father.

History

Nirana, like Sathia, was born in a modest village outside of Silvermoon, living with her family. Nirana had many of Sathia's tastes, or at least liked to be with her once she was busy with any hobby. She enjoyed following her when she collected flowers, or watching the stars with her. However, while Sathia was a pacifist, Nirana took the part of the older, protective sister. She'd often be on guard around her, watching for people she tried to help and that actually tried to take advantage of her little sister's kindness. More than once Nirana would return home beaten, having had fights with bullies that would bother Sathia. At times when Sathia was away, studying with her father, Nirana would go the other way and be with his mother, learning how to tailor and showing interest for more delicate arts. She soon got a hobby of tailoring and dollmaking, both which she carries up to this day, contrasting her usual strong behavior.

In the next years, Nirana would try to receive some attention from her father, taking to learn on how to use the Light. Because of her temperament, Nirana choose to become a squire of a paladin, rather than become a priest like her father. While still living with her parents and sister, Nirana became really close to his sister. One of the great sadness on Nirana's life was once her sire had to part. As her squire, it was her duty to follow him to the battlefield. Nirana left her home, sad to part ways from her mother and sister, not so much from her father. While trying to not go into a path her father would consider shameful, the path of war, Nirana continued with her life, living most her teenage and the beginning of her adulthood within her battalion. On the next years, Nirana would be raised to a knight, still under tutorage of her sire. Once the notice of the attack on Silvermoon by the Scourge happened, Nirana returned with the battalion she was assigned to, only to find the city devastated. Among the survivors, Nirana managed to find her mother, but also found her father had died. After using her savings to keep her mother in a better situation, Nirana rejoined with her battalion and returned to the war, still talking to her mother and Sathia through letters.

With her people suffering from arcane withdrawal after the devastation of Silvermoon, Nirana also had to find a way to deal with the lack of arcane. Once fel was offered to her people as a solution, she, like the others, accepted it, despite still feeling wrong about it, but she disliked the idea of dying or worse. Once it was over, she had to found a different way to deal with the arcane addiction. She made frequent use of mana potions and stones to make sure the withdrawal didn't kick in, though the effects of this remain up to today. Through meditation she managed to keep the fel addiction in check. Both habits still haunt her up to this day, even with the Sunwell now active. Nirana still drinks this mana potions at least once a day and usually meditades during early morning.
