Personality

Niame is a tad headstrong, frequently getting into skirmishes with others. While she can have a short fuse at times she prefers to remain laid back and watch others go at one another. Niame maintains a teasing demeanor to most people, only occasionally addressing her superiors with honorifics.

When it comes to her military work Niame does straighten up, though. She gets jobs done quickly and efficiently, almost to a degree of obsession.

History

Niame Skyshatter was born into sibling rivalry, growing up the second eldest of five. The daughter of a pair of engineers, her trade was well set into her at an early age and only strengthened as she grew. She was raised with the standards of schooling, being a fairly average student, save her frequent scuffles with her peers.

Obviously a bit of a fighter from a young age, once she was old enough she began to train herself for fighting in the military. Training on dummies, boars, and other wild beasts, though, wasn't anything to match up against a human or dwarf. When she did attempt to enter the military force as a foot soldier she was vastly outperformed by her fellow trainees, and quickly sought out a reassignment.

Niame didn't have much time to cement her place in the military before the third war began. Gnomeregan, which occured around this time, was little more than a footnote to the fledgling warrior, who was more concentrated on the war effort than the trouble at home. When the war began she had to find her place quickly, or be kept down as a foot soldier. Eventually she decided that a good course of action would be to get as far from the enemy as possible, and for her, this meant flying. A natural at the controls of an aircraft, Niame flew many missions during the war, though she was still greatly inexperienced. Mostly she aided transport missions, and at rare occasions saw a decent bombing run. She was shot down due to inexperience, but even then she resigned to doing repair work for other machines.

When the war ended Niame returned to Ironforge restless. She had grown quite attached to the air, and being grounded was a cruel reward for her service. Then again, she had got some good pay for her flights...

Cobbling together her savings and working some jobs about Ironforge, within a few years she began to build her own flying machine, the Mobius, getting swept up with news of the lands up North, ready to explore.

Niame Skyshatter was to be in the air once more!
