Personality

He is an elf who seems to always want to prove something to everyone. Some would say the even tempered Night Elf is humble and reserved but this is because they never had to train him or hunt with him. It seems as if he always has to be perfect, ashamed of even the slightest mistakes. He tries to be optimistic in the face of danger, even rushing forth when others would pause. He is flexible and adaptable, and very agreeable with others, though he is usually quiet and reserved when in a group, fearing his opinions and ideas will be wrong. This silence has led to coldness towards others, and a general lack of a sense of humor. He is a serious Elf who holds strong to traditions, and to perfecting his craft. He holds fast to the traditions and beliefs of his people, almost to the point of intolerance of others.

History

He grew up in the Ashenvale woods, his family made their home in the woods that are now gone. His past was a good one, he had an older brother named Evin and older sister Elaina who were several centuries older then himself so he was practically a only child. His brother and sister helped raise him however, taking him out. His brother would show him the forest and the life it has, show him his skill in breathing life into things. His sister would take him to watch the warriors practice, showing him the advantages of being a fighter, and tactics.

His parents held to a strong tradition, his mother a warrior, his father a druid. They tried to groom him for a place as a druid. At the right age he was taken to the druids to be taught, it was then they did not find the spark in him. He was then given to the hunters, to at least provide food for the family. He felt he had done something wrong and still tried to find that spark to become a druid to please his parents. His father would try to ease his fears by telling him not all the stars shine as bright in the sky, but they all add to the beauty. Deep inside he knew he had failed at something, and a small seed of shame was planted.

He has not been allowed to fight for the past wars. Deemed too young to enter combat he has to stay back and watch his eldest sister and older bother go to war. He tried to plea with the family's elders but his father and his mother both spoke against him going out to fight. He was neither a warrior nor a druid, and his place was best served at home. They returned his sister to the earth after the orcs first arrived. He wanted to join the fight he was kept back because of his age, and the family still needed food. He could not help but feel his family was holding him back because they thought he was weak.

When the forests fell he was forced to flee with his family. He had to watch as his brother trees were taken. He was of age, an adult, but his parents kept him back. His brother was on the front lines, healing and curing the woods while he was fishing and trapping to feed old people and little children. He asked the elders again, and they told him he served everyone better bringing in food and leather.

Then came the demon hordes, and again he was kept back as a reserve. His brother was claimed this time when the great tree was felled. The Immortality was taken, and he felt his body starting to age. He saw the emotional effect it had on those around him, to know you would die. His mother went mad with the loss of her immortality and killed her self leaping from the high cliffs. His father stopped speaking to others, his words only used for prayers now, he left home, leaving to wander in the woods.

With all this change, the family has now let him go free, sending him to train and perfect his skills as a hunter. The Alliance needs their help, and now he will get a chance to prove it was a mistake to keep him back for all these years. He had to prove they were wrong for holding him back. He knew in his heart if he was with his brother and sister they would not have died, and he needed to prove that now.
