Appearance

Typically he is wearing a modest long brown linen robe, and can almost always be seen with his weapon, shield, and some sort of religious text. In battle, if not a robe, then his usual armor is a very simple chain mail suit with no icons or symbols.

Other: Najib is a larger framed man with a natural muscle tone. Had he been a warrior, he would have been a man to fear, but he chose a simple life of modesty and in doing so he will not reach his full capabilities in combat. He bathes nearly ever day, but uses no soaps and scents, so he smells quite musty most of the time. His voice is calmed and tranquil, and it rarely changes its tone or quiet volume.

Personality

Najib is a relatively peaceful man. He chooses not to fight unless to spread his message, as for example in the arena where he will pray and fight at the same time. Unless in battle, Najib will seemingly never raise his voice and he will be all smiles, bows, and blessings. He lives a life of chosen poverty, and his obsession of the light has gone so far that he will cover up any true emotions he has just to try and seem humble. Another trait of Najib's personality is documenting just about everything he witnesses, and jotting down how the light is tied into each and every word and situation he has been involved in. A miscellaneous note; Najib refuses to acknowledge men without beards as real men.

History

To a small fisherman's family Najib was born. His father was named Bahman Wellmaker, and his mother was Sariah. In Crestfall Najib would be born, but he grew up in the residential district of Boralus. His childhood was spent more as a street-rat than the choir-boy he is today. He would not hesitate to steal a fish from a booth, or nab a coin when no one was looking. As came he to the age of fourteen he had joined a small street gang, and was locked away in prison for a year for petty crimes. In prison Najib learned absolutely nothing, and for one year after his release, Najib continued to steal, but then at the age of sixteen he had a revolution in his lifestyle. It was the beginning of the second war as it has become known, and he did what anyone looking for a coin did; enlist into the military. In the second war Najib was sent on a tour as a Marine for Kul Tiras. During his tour he had seen mostly skirmishes and island hopping, but notably he was present in the Battle at Crestfall, a sort of nostalgic memory Najib is fond of. During the Second War Najib grew quite fond of the seemingly unstoppable warriors, the Paladins, and befriended one named Anthony Johanson. Anthony had always spoken of Stormwind, and it came to no surprise that he would head down there. Normally one would part ways, but not Najib. He was eager to learn to be a Paladin, and enrolled as Anthony's squire in the city which was being rebuilt. Under the paladin, Najib trained for years, and finally he himself had been blessed the title paladin at the age of twenty six. Having endured the training of the military and the faith and further training of squire hood and that of the paladins Najib eventually became entirely humble. By the time the third war came around Najib was in his thirties, and had become too humble for his own good. Even ‘til today the man regrets not joining the war to fight the scourge, but the past is the past. After the conclusion of the war, came a major turning point for Stormwind; which seems to have become the capital of Humanity and the Alliance. Humans from all over sought shelter here, and Najib had taken it as not only his duty, but his honor to try and raise money for those who fled from the north into Stormwind. Of course, he received little more than what any beggar would. This begging lifestyle became that of which Najib carries out until today. He lives humble and only off what he needs, and will beg for money for donations to Northshire, the Orphanage, the Cathedral of the Light, and various charities.
