Appearance

Usually something primitive, something simple she whips up herself even though in most cases it ends up a little unpractical during bad weather conditions. The clothing she wears is meant to be light weight if not any at all and allow as much movement as possible.

Personality

Nahele is not the –most– typical Night Elf. Often described as a little bit too friendly and unpredictable by her own kind, she has strayed away from being the often ignorant egocentric Night Elf that finds it a must to degrade the younger races and consider them lesser for their age and experience. Nahele doesn't talk much, at least with the other races; she's more of a listener. She tries to keep her contact with civilization at a minimum, but she visits towns and cities on occasions. Though, she still prefers sleeping, eating and living in the wild. Due to this isolation Nahele loves company; she's often lonely. That leads to her getting easily dragged into adventures, no matter how deadly. She's the helping type; she will listen and try to find a solution to someone's problem or make them feel better, just because she finds that fulfilling. Sometimes she might get on your nerves, but she can show what living in harmony means.

History

A few years ago, a little before the Orcs landed on Kalimdor Nahele was just an average hunter, sitting by a camp fire with her saber – Kiara, carving out arrows. It was silent, and then, all of a sudden, Nahele stopped carving the arrow: “Five hundred years… Does time really fly that fast when you're immortal? It seems as if it was just yesterday that I first set out into the forests, but… not everything is what it seems. Kind of makes you wonder… Right, Kiara?” The Elf's eyes trailed off into the sky as the saber growled lightly. “I doubt anyone understands me as good as you do, Kiara. Probably because we've been together since you were a little kitten that I could hold in my hands.” The saber purred and moved closer to Nahele. “I wish every night would be so wonderful, Kiara, but yet… I feel a little lonely, even with you by my side… and… Kiara, do you know if the sky is any different somewhere else? Maybe there's a lot of interesting things out there that need to be seen.” Kiara looked at Nahele and growled lightly again, though she didn't exactly understand anything that Nahele said. “I knew you would agree, Kiara. I guess someday we'll set out beyond Ashenvale.”

Nahele still wishes that she had never had that talk by the camp fire. She wanted to see what more there is to this world and she got it, more than she bargained for. The Orcs desecrated her beloved forest, killed Cenarius and killed her best friend – Kiara. That in turn ruined her as a simple hunter and changed her priorities dramatically, turning her into a vengeful machine of destruction. Nahele started working out harder than before, training her aim with the bow, agility and furtiveness. All for revenge on the Orcs and their allies, simply senseless violence, even though slightly justified. It's really hard to imagine how furious Nahele was when the Night Elves united with the Orcs at Hyjal, but she managed to control herself as there was more at stake than some personal vendetta. And though they all came out victorious together, Nahele certainly didn't forgive them for what they've done and she wasn't going to live happily ever after with them.

Even though the alliance between the Night Elves and Orcs ended and it was essential to saving Azeroth then, Nahele was still furious that it was ever made in the first place so she unofficially detached herself from her own kind. She would start going out on hunts, but not just any hunt, a hunt for revenge, a hunt for Orcs and the rest of them foul Horde. It was all she cared about: surreptitiously watching them all and as soon as one stepped too far away from the others… arrow to the heart, for ripping hers out when they desecrated Ashenvale forest and killed Kiara. She would drop by Astraanar from time to time and her own kind wasn't too fond of her presence every time; she looked a little too wild and dark, shifted. This in turn didn't go unnoticed and once she was finally approached by a younger Night Elf by the name of Eara. She was friendly and wanted to help Nahele, but Nahele didn't want to be helped. “Hey, hey, you're that weird Elf everyone's talking about. My name is Eara, nice to meet you! What's your name?” Nahele stopped and stared down at Eara: “Buzz off, child.” Yet Eara wasn't spooked away by Nahele's response and she started following her, all the way out of the town into the woods. While following her she ran into an angry bear, she got attacked by surprise and was completely caught off guard. It seemed Eara was done for, but Nahele couldn't hold back and shot the bear saving Eara: “It was pretty stupid of you to follow me, it's a good thing the bear was the first one who caught you, because I was about to lead you into a death trap. You're not too sneaky, you know that?” Nahele helped Eara up and glared at her: “Now scat, child!” Eara shook her head and yelled out: “No! What is your problem! I'm just trying to be friendly and help you with whatever is bothering you.” Nahele sighed: “Why? Why? Why do you persist?” After a short pause Eara came right up to Nahele's face and quietly said: “Because I care.”

At that time Nahele decided just to take her along in hopes she would leave her alone after seeing how dangerous it is. Though, to her own surprise, they soon became friends. Eara proved to be quite useful to Nahele. They started sharing life experiences, ideas when Eara started talking about harmony within yourself, love for nature and others, about caring. Finally the old Nahele was slowly re-appearing from the ashes, but she was coming back friendlier and more caring than she ever was. Eara's ideology made Nahele find a purpose in life again, a reason to enjoy life - helping others. Friendship with Eara really helped Nahele and when Nahele finally became nearly an exact copy of Eara by ideology, Eara left her, saying that there are more people that need her help. Nahele was about to do the same, but a little different as she -prefers- not to stay in cities and live in the wild.
