Appearance

Mundo usually wears cheap cloth, or whatever's good enough for him to survive in whatever environment he may be in. If he expects combat, he tends to grab whatever armor is nearby and not being used by anyone else, resulting in a makeshift armor.

Other: Mundo is very muscular, having worked as a peon his entire life. Being 'bigger' than most Orcs, Mundo tends to bend his knees more than one normally would, so that he doesn't tower over his fellow Orc. His body bears many scars, mostly from whips. He has a large burn mark that scars the right side of his face. It is very hard for him to focus on anything fast moving.

His voice is rather gruff and deep. And he has a constant slur when he speaks, often resulting in a strange sort of dialogue.

Personality

Mundo is a simple Orc. He keeps to himself unless he is spoken to or he is seeking a job. When given an objective, Mundo is very single minded in achieving such objective. He does whatever he thinks is best for a situation, and it is very hard to influence his thinking process. If one should anger Mundo, he will often give a single warning before commencing the beating of whomever is bothering him. To his allies and friends, he is respectful, ready to crack a joke, ready to give someone a strong pat on the back for a job well done. To his enemies, he wishes for nothing more than their destruction, though he will follow whatever rules are in effect in the area before he gives in to such desires.

If there are rules given to him, he will always follow them to the letter. Being a peon for most of his life, Mundo knows that speaking out of line or breaking the rules usually resulted in a beating. Such beatings he accepts, knowing that through them he will learn his mistakes, and become a better worker. He is very defensive of other peons, whom are usually smaller than him. If one continuously insults another worker, threatens another worker, or harms another worker without good reasoning, Mundo will try to beat the living daylights of them. Barring that, he will simply yell at them. Such protection of fellow peons also extends to his friends.

Mundo cares little for the Horde/Alliance conflict, and any other conflict the Orcs might have. He just wants to work, to be able to be proud of the things he constructs or the things he moves. He places a great deal of pride into what he does. To insult his work is to insult Mundo, and his response will generally depend on whether or not he likes the person making the insult. On the flip side, complimenting Mundo's work is a good way to get him to like you. When given a job, he seems to be tireless in completing it, never ceasing work unless told to. Though, the second he is finished, he will usually fall asleep on the spot out of exhaustion.

History

Born a bastard child, Mundo spent much of his earlier years with his mother, Nidal'sha of the Warsong Clan. He was big even during his childhood, often towering over his fellow youths. Because of his size, many expected him to become a great warrior. To use his strength in fighting the enemies of the Horde. To stand as a rigid defender of honor and glory.

These people were wrong.

Mundo was too kind-hearted a soul to fight others. And as soon as his unwillingness to fight was discovered, he was deigned a disgrace. As he grew up, other children held the big Orc in disdain, though they never said it to his face. He was very distant from others, isolated. In his solitude, he found a certain joy in creating small things. Carving small items out of wood was how he spent most of his free time, and he would often show these things to his mother, taking great pride in them.

When he reached adulthood, Mundo was immediately cast into the rank of 'Peon'. Though it insulted him greatly, Mundo managed to really fit in to this roll. He was a hard worker, he took pride in everything he constructed, and was generally obedient. Somehow, he even managed to call a number of his fellow workers 'friends'. They would often spend their little free time with eachother, raising eachother's spirits.

Of course, no good thing lasts forever. One day near the end of the second war, a group of three disgruntled Orc Warriors came to him and his fellow peons as they were resting near a campfire.

"What are you sniveling worms doing!?"

"We iz restin'."

Mundo's reply to the warrior was greeted with a sharp punch to the face.

"Well get back to work! There's no time for rest for -your kind-!"

"Buht iz rest time! We iz restin'!"

Another punch. And then another.

"You think I care, Peon?"

The Orc's fellow warriors laughed at the mistreatment, and began joining in, beating the Peons senselessly. As one tried to resist, one of the warriors took out his axe and swiftly chopped at the worker, slicing his chest open. The peon cried in pain, clutching the wound.

And as this happened, something in Mundo snapped.

He grabbed a large stick from the campfire, and began swinging at the oppressors with naught but rage guiding his arm. The other peons joined in the fighting, grabbing their own sticks and tools as they beat back their superiors. It was a short bloody battle before one of the Grunts fell to the ground, dead, which caused the other Warriors to flee. In their victory, the Peons cheered.

When they returned to the main camp, they were swiftly punished. Yet somehow, Mundo was smiling as he was given his beatings. Even as blows met his back. Even as his face was burned permanently as a reminder of his actions. Even as he was berated by other Orcs for being a fool. Something about the entire event felt right to him. As though he had done something truly...correct. Something just.

Eventually, the second war ended and the Orcs were put into camps. Mundo managed to escape imprisonment by staying with the Warsong Clan, working to maintain their tools of war. Time passed on, Thrall became Warchief, the third war came and ended, not really effecting Mundo as he was not permitted to drink the Demon's blood which corrupted his fellow Warsong clansmen. But Mundo had somehow gained more respect. People no longer spit at him as they walked by. He would only learn later that it was because the Warchief wished for Peons to be treated better. And once he learned this, he pledged absolute loyalty to the man who would protect workers like such.

To this day, he still serves in the Horde armies. He maintains equipment, harvests materials, and constructs forts. Any money he is paid is sent home to his mother, to better support her in her venerable years. His large, strong appearance keeps people from bothering him while he works, and he likes it that way.
