History

Miya was born years after her people arrived on Draenor as the daughter to a Warrior and a cook.

Miya's early life was simple. She befriended one of the brown-skins from a nearby village during that time, a Shaman in training. Despite her father's wary looks on the Orc, Miya still befriended him. As Miya grew older, the two made sure to keep in touch. He showed her what the Elements and the Spirits could do if one just asked kindly. The Orc became the apprentice to the village Elder until they were deceived by the Demons and drank the Demonic blood.

This was when the Orcs turned on the Draenei. Miya was devastated by the fact that her once close friend was now leading an attack against her village. In the confusion, Miya attempted to flee from the village but tripped over something her father dropped. Her mother's axe. Miya quickly grabbed the axe before her father grabbed her and dragged her away. They couldn't run from the village, they were surrounded by the now green Orcs! This was when Miya's former friend and now greenskinned Warlock appeared in an attempt to end the girl and her father. In that spilt second she had, she grabbed her mother's axe and cut down the Orc. By the end of the fight, there were only two survivors. Miya and her father. The leader recognized her father as the man who saved his son from wild animals and allowed Miya to leave with her life while her father was capured.

Miya left, fled and had little to no survival skills back in the day and only survived as long as she did through sheer luck, scavenging on the corpses the Orcs left behind in their wake of destruction and managing to avoid the Horde. Whenever she even had the slightest idea of an Orc or other hostile being nearby, she hid herself as best as she could. Her hiding and travels usually kept her within Nagrand, though as she felt and saw more of the world collapse into itself, she left towards Terrokar, believing it to be safer. She avoided -everything- that was strange and a potential hostile. Though she saw the occasional Broken, Lost or even one of the strange pinkskinned humans, Dwarves and Elves. As time passed on, Miya found a cave for herself to hide in, occasionally coming out to scavenge for a food supply. Usually, her supply were carcasses left behind by the Orcs. Miya cared little for what exactly the carcasses were before.

One day she fed herself on the raw remains of a Talbuk as a worg sneaked up behind her. As Miya sank her fangs into the carcass, the worg sank it's fangs into her lower left calf. Miya managed to kill the worg before running away. The adrenaline in her body numbed the pain of the wound and the infection.

As the adrenaline left her, the pain set in heavily. She tried to keep herself from screaming in pain but the pain was too terrible. She screamed and was found by a Broken Draenei who saw the infection and saw no other option but to amputate the leg in order to save her life. Little did she know the Exodar already left and she was already stranded on Draenor. She decided to stick close to the Broken as long as she could, needing him to get around.

After Shattrath City was rebuild, Miya and her broken friend split up, him learning of his new powers while Miya was granted a new, prosthetic leg. After quite some time and Miya wondering what became of her father, as well as learning to walk again, she met her Broken friend again. He now was a Shaman, and quite the skilled one. Miya was nothing but a weak warrior back then and wanted to learn more skill to compensate for her leg and help her kind. As well as a chance to find her father.

Miya started training with her new mentor, most of the day she spent meditating. Her Broken friend showed her some of the skills he had acquired in his absence. One day during training, the two were attacked by a group of Lost Ones. Miya was told to get away as fast as she could, and she did. As she ran, she could hear the screams of her Broken friend dying. This was for Miya the start of a new adventure to find a new mentor, friends and perhaps, a new family.

Skills and Abilities

Engineer: Miya's replacement of her leg got her interested in engineering, partially for herself to maintain and keep the prosthetic leg and to aid her people in any future endeavours.

Archer: Miya's need to take care of herself was great enough to teach herself to hunt with bow and arrow whenever the need arised. Though she preferred to scavenge on remains, this was a nice alternative.

Scavenger: Miya had to take care of herself for quite some time before finding aid. This caused her to scavenge together what food, cloth and improvised weapons she could find and could prove a valuable skill.

Orcisch: Having befriended an Orc in the past, Miya fluently speaks Orcisch. Her Common on the other hand is terrible.
