Personality

Misjana Minaar sees herself as the perfect example for a Blood elf. She wears the colors of the Silvermoon banner with pride. She thinks rather high of herself and does not appreciate others who dare to tell her she is wrong in one way or another.

Misjana is a woman who thinks before she speaks, and does this in a way by what others would describe as "mysterious". Her arrogant posture combined with her wicked way of thinking makes her a ferocious opponent. Especially when you get on her wrong side. Whenever she believes she is on a trail to success or achievements, nothing could stop her. Even if that would mean to lie, torture or even killing a friend.

Misjana treats everyone around her the same. She makes no difference in friend and foe, because she knows that when she is on the wrong side of the path, others would try to stop her. Therefore she does not trust anyone.

History

Misjana Minaar, born in Tranquillien and raised by her two parents, lived a fine life. Her parents treated her as any parent would treat their child, however Misjana thought differently and as a stubborn, dark thinking child she believed that what was wrong, could also be right. She did not believe in what her parents thought was right, and so she soon learned that there were other things in life that would prove her right.

As any child in Quel'thalas. Misjana chose to become a student at one of the sanctums. She always loved the way arcane magic held her large city alive and so she chose to study Arcane studies. As her powers grew as well as her knowledge, questions began to bother Misjana's mind. What was the reason most teachers did not want to practice the purer Arcane? Why did they act as if it was a sin to practice fel and shadow magic? These questions kept her up and she did not feel satisfied until she had found the answers to these questions.

Years passed and Misjana had found her way to find answers to her questions. The grand library which kept thousands of artifacts, tomes and books from ancient Arcanists. She borrowed book after book, reading them when she was home and was off school.

Although Misjana tried to be as secretive with the books and her "dark homework", her parents slowly began to wonder what their daughter kept her up so late. And as they began to dive into Misjana's room while she was away, they found out that what their daughter was reading belonged to arcane mastery that was forbidden. What they did not know was that their daughter did not only read the books, no; She started practicing the darker arts as well.

The clever girl had it already planned. Reading books was dangerous her parents would mind her, but practicing would have been a sin. She knew that to practice this Arcane knowledge she needed a place where no one would ever find out she practiced magic. A small, hidden and forsaken place, a cave where she would enjoy her studies while her parents believed she was at school.

Three days until graduating; and Misjana went to her secret cave in Eversong woods. The air had turned darker and birds flew over in a chaotic way she had never seen. However it did not bother Misjana. She had already looked out to this particular day, because she would for the first time make up a contract with her Voidwalker. She had everything prepared back in the cave.

When Misjana finally arrived at her cave she crouched into the cave. With a simple wave of her hand she lit torches on the wall. She frowned as he examined her cave, something was not right. She crouched deeper into the cave, but she got smacked to her head by something hard. She fell back to her rear and looked up at a horrible creature that stood over her. She gasped and crouched back. The creature held a skull in its right hand and tried to smack Misjana again. But this time she dodged and rolled back to fire a shadow bolt into its stomach. The creature stumbled back and Misjana took the time to get back to her feed. She whispered a chant and two shadow bolts conjured beside her. She grinned and waved her hand, both shadow bolts went straight for the creature. Green gore began to pour from the creatures stomach which was hit for the third time by the bolts. Misjana was still surprised by the creatures presence, but saw the opportunity to make a run for it and did so.

As soon as he ran out of the cave she looked up to see Silvermoon city. The gorgeous city that once stood there with its golden and white pillars, was now a burning and chaotic pit. Screams of desperation could be heard from a far distance. Misjana just stood there flabbergasted looking at the horrible sight she once knew as her home. Misjana slowly turned on her heels and began to run back to her humble home.

As Misjana got near her home town, her nostrils began to fill with the filthy smell of charred skin and the sky was darker than she had ever seen. Huge clouds of smoke rose from the houses. As she looked to her left she noticed the dark charred ground, which was left in the wake of the Scourge. Misjana shook her head in confusion but kept going until she reached her town and saw her house standing, burning.

There was no need to kick the door in, it was already ripped out. Misjana ran into her small living room seeing her parents lie there, dead on the green, turned blood red carpet. Misjana turned and ran up the stairs grabbed a small back containing a few books and some strange crystals and made her way back downstairs. She looked into the living room for the last time and shrugged. "Perhaps this is for the best," she said as she turned and walked out of her house, away from her town to fulfill her own destiny.

When the Cataclysm happened, Misjana went back to Silvermoon City to regain her strength and read upon magic. Seeing as she hasn't been to her beloved city for years; this will make for a whole new journey, just right where she started.
