Weight: 46 kg

Height: 150 cm

Scale: 0,86 (Mira was born in a big and very poor family, not allowing her any proper growth.)

Usual Garments/Armor: Mira usually wears a black robe and fitting hood, rather blending in to her surroundings than to show up. Her hands are always covered up with black gloves.

Other: Mira's left arm was lost during her escape from the Cult of the Damned and after doing a lot of research, tinkering and work, she replaced it with a full mechanical one. It works almost like a real arm, only more clumsy. Her right hand is more frail than the normal hand due to the fact she channelled her corruptive through it for years.

Mira still has her cat, Cuddles, despite it's undead state.

Personality

Mira was always shy, even in her service for the Forsaken, her shyness has prevailed to a certain level. Though with her new allegiance, she has become more assertive of her life. Mira still has her moments of shyness but is always ready to fight against the enemies of the Forsaken. Highly loyal the Forsaken people, Mira is willing to fight for the Forsaken cause. There is but one thing she doesn't like about the Forsaken and that is their new plague. She doesn't understand why but doesn't question it.

She carries a hatred for Garrosh and his new Horde but doesn't openly show it, not intending on dying. The war with the Gilneans is, in her eyes, a useless and idiotic war, not understanding why the Forsaken are now fighting an enemy no one has seen in years.

History

Mira was born as the seventh and youngest child to a Farstrider and a housewife. Being the youngest and the most shy, she was always picked on by her older siblings. She shut herself off from the rest of her family as much as possible, becoming socially awkward.

Whenever she could, Mira snuck out of the house and went to the library to study the Arcane on her own. Over the years, art became natural to her. At the age of eighteen, Mira was as good a Hedge Mage as she would ever be at that age. It was at this age, that she decided she was fed up with her siblings and next time she was picked on, she roasted her oldest brother alive. Her parents shocked at this new development and Mira ran away from home out of fear.

She ran into the forests to cry and was found by an older Elf and a Mage, having his hand replaced by a mechanical one. She lied to him, telling him her parents had died hunting Dragonhawks. He offered to adopt her as his own daugther and she happily accepted. Anything was better than to return to her old family...

He started training her in the ways of the Arcane and Mira showed promise in everything he taught her, from Arcane to engineering. As years passed, Mira became a better mage by the day. The first and second war simply passed her, only rumours reached her ears, too busy concentrating on her arts to pay attention. He gave her a kitten to cuddle and an attempt to forget her 'deceased' family. Lovingly, she named the kitten Cuddles.

Several years before the Third War, Mira's practice changed drastically. Mira just thought it was all part of her training to become a Mage. Cuddles, sadly enough, passed away due to age. Her mentor told her she could bring him back if she wanted. Overcome with grief, she readily accepted and was told to catch a bird, preferably a young one. And so, Mira set off to catch a young bird. She brought it back home where her mentor had prepared a few things. Her cat, a ritual surrounding the cat and a small cage for the bird, as well as a parchment for her to read and use.

Mira put the bird in the cage and started on the ritual. She felt strange as she drained the soul from the bird and into Cuddles. The bird stopped it's scared sounds and dropped dead while Cuddles stood back up to his paws. Little did Mira know that this was her first step into Necromancy.

Several more years passed and Mira kept training, using older birds to keep her cat alive and later she used nothing but her own will to bring the cat back when it did die. It was then that the Scourge arrived and attacked Silvermoon. She was taken by her mentor to greet the Cult head on, where she was inducted as a full member of the Cult. They manipulated the woman away from her city, away from her former teachings and directly into the hands of the Scourge. Not that she minded to watch her city burn. Amongst the Cult, she was taught a lot more than just bringing her cat back. She was taught to bring even the strongest enemies back to serve the Scourge.

Shortly after the destruction of the Sunwell, Mira too was hit by the destruction of the Sunwell. Her former mentor was hit as well. Together with other Elves within the Cult, Mira knew they had to find a cure or they would fail the Cult and their lives would end. They learnt of Kael'thas and his exodus, as well as his cure to their hunger for magic. The Fel. Mira accepted it, at least to sate her own need for it.

It wasn't until Arthas started losing his power that Mira started realizing what she had done. With regret in her heart, she turned her back on the Cult, slowly making her way to the end of the Scourge flood of living corpses. Once at the edge, she was grabbed by the arm by her mentor, asking her where she was heading. She told him everything and he called her a traitor, holding her arm until reinforcements arrived. Not wanting to die and overcome with fear, she took control over some of the closest undeads and had one cut her arm off. With her arm gone, she could escape the grasp of the Scourge and gladly did so, leaving her last slaves to fight the Scourge to cover her retreat. She fled until she could no longer run, finding a cave and collapsing.

She lived off of what she could scavenge for some time until she learnt of the Forsaken going into an Alliance with the Horde and the Sin'dorei. Mira left her cave to join the Forsaken, offering her services to them, feeling she should help them after everything she put them through. Treated with harsh stares and hatred from the Forsaken, Mira had to fight to get any respect. Still she holds little respect from the Forsaken. Mira found herself a place she could work on her own, including a replacement for her arm through technomancy.

Mira's arm became as functional as it ever would be. She kept practicing necromancy beside technomancy, often adding things to the constructs she created.

When the Cataclysm hit, Mira sent several of her constructs off to fight in the war, overlooking the fight in Gilneas for herself. Why this war? It was useless... The Gilneans weren't involved in the war, nor did they want to be. But she had orders to fight, and so it was. When Gilneas fell, Mira returned to her shack to return to her studies and her future is to be seen...

Skills and Abilities

  • Raise Dead: Mira can raise the dead from the ground to serve her, even give them free will if she so pleases. She can control up to two undeads at the same time, provided they are within 50 meters from her.
  • Heal Undead: At the cost of a part of her own life, Mira can heal an undead near her.
  • Summon/Store Undead: Mira can store the undeads she has raised within the Shadow Realm until they are needed, summoning them requires some time on her part as does the storing.
  • Control Undead: Mira can temporary take over control of an undead. The amount of control depends on the willpower of said undead. (In combat, will be OOC discussed with the victim)
  • Anti-Magic Shield: Mira conjures up a shield to protect her from magic attacks aimed at her or anyone standing directly next to her. (Determined through standard OOC rolls)
  • Technomancy: To compensate for her lack of muscle and social skills, Mira delved into the arts of engineering and magic, combining the two into one.
  • Technological Constructs: Using a mixture of her technomancy and her necromancy, Mira can 'upgrade' her undead with stronger limbs, new limbs or replacements.
  • Gutterspeak: Having lived amongst the Forsaken for some years, Mira learnt her fair share of Gutterspeak.
