Personality

Milyana might seem like a kind and caring person when around other members of her race, but this quickly shifts into the arrogance and hatred when around other, so called 'inferior' races of the opposing faction. At times, she is poetic, sometimes even trying to write something, but most of the time she loses interest and abandons it. Devout, sometimes even zealous in her faith in the Light, she hates demons and undead.

She is very hateful of the Alliance, particularly humans, who she sees as nothing more than cowards and backstabbers. Night Elves are simply how the Blood Elves used to look like, as far as she's concerned, they can disappear. Gnomes and Dwarves are short, in the case of the Dwarves, fat people, hated by association with the humans. Draenei are noble, but she will not refrain from throwing a few insults here and there. Bears innate dislike for Trolls, but is otherwise respectful of other races in the Horde. Although she shares an almost identical fate with the Forsaken, oftentimes she will scoot around nervously when near one, trying to avoid any conversation if at all possible.

History

Born in Quel'thalas 230 years ago, both of her parents were Farstriders, hardy people who distrusted the Arcane, preferring to do things with their own might and physical prowess. As such, she was taught to hate trolls at a young age. Her childhood was peaceful and happy, if not a training riddled one, preparing for another Troll invasion. Taught in the use of the bow and sword, she'd challenge her peers to spars and shooting contests, throwing tantrums whenever she lost one. Once she reached adulthood, she became a full-fledged Farstrider. As the entire Elven race was unconcerned about the humans and their war with the Orcs south in the Eastern Kingdoms, she honed her skills further due to frequent patrols and savage combat with the Trolls.

It past only a short few years before the Second War began, and the High Elves sent merely a handful of their archers and rangers to assist the humans in their battles with the Dark Horde. She was fine with humans getting slaughtered while she enjoyed her stay in Silvermoon. During the war, the Church of Silvermoon, a branch of the Church of the Holy Light of Lordaeron, caught her interest. The Light, as a philosophy, made her curious. After a priest explained how the Light gives and protects its faithful, Milyana turned to the Church and the Light originally as a Farstrider follower, but would later on become a priest herself. She found it difficult to adjust to a life of a Priest and give up on her previous training. Still, she knew if she persevered, she would be able to heal and even bring back the recently dead to life. As the war drew to a close, the Alliance won and though Milyana didn't participate as much as she had hoped, she was happy she had become an accomplished Priest and that the Trolls didn't take over her home.

Nearly two decades past before the Third War broke out, and something sinister was looming of the Eastern Kingdoms. It turns out that this sinister force was the Scourge, controlled by the demonic Burning Legion. She hoped she could skip out on this war, yet it turned out her race would be the race most affected by it. Arthas, a young paladin, as driven mad during the War's events. On his rampage through Silvermoon, he slaughtered 90% of its population, but Milyana found a way to escape death, something she regrets now.

Once he befouled the Sunwell's holy energies in order to revive Kel'Thuzad, he had cut off the High Elves from their source of power. To add salt to the wound, Arthas raised the Ranger Lord of Quel'thalas, Sylvanas Windrunner as a banshee to serve under his will. Milyana was angry and depressed, her childhood idol was now a monstrosity. Anger didn't help much against the hunger she felt, however. She fought against the hunger as much as she could, but had to resort to absorbing demonic energies in order to sate her ever present magical addiction. Her powers were reduced to simple healing spells and weak blessings. Feeling that she had betrayed the Light, she sought a source of redemption. It would take long before she could find one, however.

As the Third War had unfolded, Garithos and his Alliance remnants had turned their back on the Blood Elves, Mil had traveled to Outland, hoping to find a cure for her hunger, and in doing so allied herself with the Naga following Illidan in his quest to destroy the renegade Scourge. Illidan's efforts were partially successful, weakening the Lich King's iron grip on his hordes of mindless undead, allowing Sylvanas and her followers to gain free will. Still devoid of a source of redemption, she was skeptical about the takeover of Tempest Keep. There, however, her people had found what they have been looking for: a Naaru, M'uru, who was a being of pure Light.

Starting to leech off of his powers, many of her race became Blood Knights, and the Blood Elves had joined the Horde. Eager to make the humans pay for their arrogance during the Third War, she quickly accepted the fact that she would be working with Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, and the Forsaken. With the Sunwell's restoration, her powers were returned. She was a true priest again. Having been through hell and back, she finally had a chance to stay in Silvermoon, to calm down and spread the Light.
